Demons
It never ceases to amaze me how many ways there are to look at life, spirituality, religion and the dimensions around this planet that are unseen, yet very much a part of our existence on Earth. Growing up within Catholicism, the religion chosen by my parents, I was indoctrinated into the world of good versus evil, of God, Jesus and the Devil, Arch Angels and Demons and how they impact our lives on both a spiritual and physical level. Years down the track, and a lot of experience under my belt, I have become more aware of the multi-faceted world of spirits, angels and demons, and what truly constitutes good and bad. I must admit it’s open to interpretation on so many levels, that I still can’t honestly say I understand it all. There are so many things portrayed in movies and on TV, and some come close to the truth in regard to possession and exorcism and how it may come about and be dealt with. Every religion I have come into contact with has views on demonic possession and even angelic possession in one form or another. As a trance medium when I allow my energy to blend with spirit’s

energy, this too could be a considered a form of possession!
In this issue, we tackle Angels and Demons from many different directions, and it makes for an interesting read. Sometimes I am left wondering why and other times I understand clearly. I cannot abide, nor condone the hatred and angst caused by the vilification of anyone, regardless of their persuasion.

performance or better braking. A customer asks questions and then makes a decision. A professional mechanic will know the details or find out and not judge you for your choice, as it’s – YOUR CHOICE! Speaking as the Editor of Supernal, this magazine’s ethos is to share empowering information for all readers, and I ensure that we are unbiased and provide wherever possible, factual information with balance and without incitement or vilification of any sort – full stop! With much consultation with our writers and team, and people in the scientific and medical fields, we have come up with 39 questions (the biggest survey we’ve heard about), which we encourage our reader’s to take part in. We’re seeking understanding of how we can best serve you, our readership. Grid Point 44 Continued Sacred Sites

Our group had settled into a steady rhythm of moving, setting up camp, preparing food, lighting fire, and holding ceremony as we made our way around the phenomenally beautiful region of the Flinders Ranges. “There were many sites on our agenda and we were moving fast, very rarely camping for more than one night at a place.” Though we were covering vast distances in order to fit all the sites into our itinerary, we still made time for spontaneous stops along the way which made the trip all the more exciting for all we discovered off the beaten track. At one particular point we took a break in an ancient, rocky, river bed and explored a cave high up on the side of the adjacent mountain. While the others rested below, to our amazement we came across an incredible shelter up there and a double sided pecked rock, no doubt many, many thousands of years old! I will never forget the nights spent

out there in that remote wilderness. It was early August and absolutely freezing at night, often exacerbated by camping next to creeks and billabongs. Chambers Gorge one chilly afternoon, I was unprepared for what I was about to see. My home country is world renowned for its rock art heritage and I had yet to experience rock engravings this side of the Indian Ocean. “When I came upon the red walls of this sacred place of initiation I was dumbstruck!“ Dozens of engravings etched on the wall speak predominantly of the ceremonies held there since the dawn of time. The gorge still holds such a strong resonance of presence that I stood for hours in silence, marvelling at the grandeur of the many impressions in the rock. The only comparison I could muster from places I had visited before was a site called Driekops Eiland in South Africa. The engravings there are carved into black river bedrock, and are often under water in the rainy season. I marvelled at how the many symbols on the rock spoke of the various types of ceremonies and of who was involved. Many of theimprints were circular in
shape and geometric, again much like Driekops Eiland. According to the Department of State Aboriginal Affairs on an informational board nearby the site, a single lined circle represents a camp, a double lined concentric circular impression represents people gathering together during an initiation ceremony, and many concentric circles represent a waterhole or a spring. Others depict actions taken during ceremony and how the people were arranged and what they did. A circle with a diagonal line through it represents the initiate running through a circle of women and throwing a spear decorated with feathers backwards to be caught by waiting initiated men. Can you imagine a cultural language of spirit meets stone? “Visiting Chambers Gorge and spending time there really impressed upon me how very deeply connected our ancestors must have been to the natural world around them.”
Back then there were no distractions from the natural world. They must have been seamlessly connected to the Earth and her cycles, the elements, plants and animals. To one another. And to Spirit. What would have been more important in those days than to live each and every moment in presence and honouring of the gift of life all around them? I do believe sites such as these in some special way give us a glimpse into their world and the nature of their reality, where indeed everything and every act was sacred.

Chambers Gorge Sacred Sites – The Alchemy
By Freya Savitri Sampson Whilst within Wilpena Pound with Duncan, I read the plaques telling the settlers’ stories. They had thought this was a great place to build a home and run cattle - then a drought came and drove them out. I laughed out loud and Duncan asked me what was funny. I replied, “If I was a serpent and this was my resting place and someone decided to build a structure to live in the middle of my coils, I’d do the same thing. Cut off the water!” “You do understand,” Duncan said. Test passed, progress to the next stage. Later Duncan visited our campsite, finding Millie and I pouring over maps. “Do you know where you’re going yet?” “No,” I replied, feeling frustrated. He laughed, “You whities, you never know where

you’re going,” and drove away. Challenge accepted! His gentle ribbing spurred me on! I was determined. More pouring over maps. I’d located one site, yet I felt something was evading me. Millie said, “Here, you might want to have a look at this. Rosemary gave it to me before we left when I told her what we were doing. She said you may need it.” Rosemary was the first person to give me an energetic healing. To this day, I remember everything she said to me, which was 100 percent accurate and has stood me in incredibly good stead throughout my journey. “Stunned, I read the 15-year-old magazine article about the Adnyamathanha people and some of their sacred sites.” I realised I had been to two sites and a third site was mentioned on the map.
Yet the fourth site was not on any of the maps and was not accessible to the public. The Elders and peoples of the Adnyamathanha tribe sang their power-sites and song-lines until 1944, held this knowledge and had passed from diabetesrelated reactions to white man poisons - alcohol, sugar and white bread. No wonder I couldn’t find it. At that very moment, Duncan drove back past. “I know where I’m going!” I called out. He came over and read the article, astounded. “That place is VERY sacred.” I replied, “Yes and that’s where I need to go.” “Okay, first you go to the other place and camp there overnight. Then you come to see me and the elders when I go home on the weekend. You talk to them and if they say okay, you can go.”
sacred sites The article revealed a poignant piece of information. The spirit totem of the Adnyamathanha is the eagle, which gave me even more confidence in my connection to ‘Seeing Eagle’ and the mysterious journey that was unfolding.
We departed, fearlessly driving my low-profile VW hatchback down a dry rocky riverbed that led to Chambers Gorge, site of the creation myth in the book of Legends. This off-road driving was not part of the plan! The risks of puncturing a tyre or damaging the diff were at the forefront of my awareness. Thankfully, we made it unscathed. The gorge is picturesque, unspoiled. Scanning the land, I received the songlines meandering along the top of the gorge. Following them we took a walk:
“I felt so at home here, this country was very familiar, even though I had not been there before this lifetime.” A little way along the track, from the opposing rock face, the carving meaning ‘water’, called out to me. We were on track. Arriving at what would be a bend in the river when it floods, we climbed into the small gorges dry riverbed. The gorge walls seem to sing and whisper to me as the countless carvings came to life. I watched Millie, saying nothing to her, waiting for the ancestors to speak to her. The delight that came into her Texan accented voice as her energy adjusted and the carving revealed themselves to her, was beautiful to witness. “The archaeologist who gazetted this site for National Parks and Wildlife said that the carbon dating from the inside of the carvings, not the edges or outer surfaces, placed the age at 40-60,000 years.” This makes them significantly older that the Cave of the Bulls in Spain and many other European rock art sites.
We enjoyed the beauty then, when it was nearing dark, we made camp and lit a fire. When we were settled, I went behind a tree to pass water, where I felt someone’s presence. I could of course see nothing, so I invoked my unconditionally loving team in spirit. I said to whoever was there, that I had come in peace. Then a stick insect flew onto me. Angelical Consciousness,
or – Am I Conscious of Angels? By ShirleySienna
Angels – my first thought is whether to apply a capital A or lower case a? Which is appropriate and why? It seems that when one speaks of angels it is simply the small ‘a’ and if naming an angel, such as Angel Michael, then a capital is appropriate. There is the question of angelic hierarchies, the system of rank and authority as quoted by various religious institutions. However one could theorise that only humans need hierarchy, order, rank, and placement. This gives institutional hierarchy a power and control over the lesser human ranks, hence church, politics and royal families presiding over the masses, population and peasants. Over the centuries, texts of different religions refer to angels, so perhaps there is a substantial idea of the reality of such a species. One can argue that maybe what was thought to be angelic is actually closer to being a visitor from another galaxy. Possible extra-terrestrial visitation, space men as we see drawn onto and carved into rocky outcrops and hidden within caves that indigenous folk the world over have characterised with similar vision and artistic flair. Writing this makes me think of Erik von Daniken’s Chariot of the Gods.

Angels are known by many names and genres with the subject broadly open to interpretation. There are many ‘experts’ and angel gurus who have their ideas or trains of thought that are widely followed. Perhaps try forgetting what is written by those who may or may not have agenda or a firm belief system in place, creating an obstacle to truth of reality. Do I feel I have had an experience, vision or have ventured into the realm of angelic existence or evidence of? Yes! I am not bias to, nor caught up in, having to be, ‘right’ about’ the existence of angels and I freely allow my ideas to change and evolve. A dozen years ago, I was facilitating a meditation group and the theme felt very ‘angelically’ inspired. feature healing, joy and abundance. It was a powerful session and, as each person shared their experience, it seemed to have been extremely and personally uplifting for each sitter. I wished that I had been a sitter and able to give myself over to the vibration and frequency that I had felt as I guided the group. Around two that morning, I was awoken from sleep, aware that my whole room was alight and amassed in colour. Greens, purples, blues, hues of colours were streaming up and down the walls in frequency wave bands, as though vibrating to a sound I could not hear. There were golden threads of luminescence darting across the room. Checking I was not dreaming by pinching myself, I decided to give in to the beauty and lay back in amazement. After several minutes I ‘sensed’ two beings, which I absolutely ‘knew’ to be of angelic origin, were about to become visible apparitions within my room. I held my breath. At the last moment, I telepathically said ‘No, please do not’, as I felt such overwhelming awe that I was not sure I could actually handle the potency, and was in some way ‘not ready’ for the revelation.

I am used to ‘seeing and sensing’ spirits. This was a totally different energy. The lights dimmed and I relaxed giving thanks for what I knew to be a gift. My youngest child spoke of seeing angels during childhood
and into his very early teens. He described them as very tall giant-sized beings with wings that he said, “Weren’t really feathers, Mum. It’s light.” He saw them in his mind’s eye quite naturally and who was I to argue? They gave him ‘messages’, which he would see written on an old-style school slate in white chalk. As he became a little older, this vision changed to a computer screen and the words would be typed in. He called them angels, not spirits, ghosts or anything else. I felt it right to take it as he called it. He described the angel speaking for and to me as Tom, always dressed in a half white and half black suit, with hair to match and great wings of light. Calling upon the persona of different or specified angels for different reasons can be very empowering and bring forth very tangible results and energy. The essence of the traditional hierarchies is also very powerful, because this is our angelic consciousness working within us; the most powerful form of magnetism in existence. Personally, I do not adhere to humans becoming angels or being referred to as such after death, nor do I feel that are our loved ones in the spirit world are our ‘guardian angels’. The subject of ‘earth angels’, such as an angel appearing to be incarnate in human form, I have waivered about. My first reaction is to negate this, having said that, a good friend and I shared an experience that continued over many

years and which has left it an open book of possibility. Many years ago through the trance verbalisation of White Eagle, I was given information that we each have two ‘guardian angels’ assigned to us who are always there. Interpret that as you wish The feeling of, what I have been close enough to say is angelic presence, is different from that of other forms of spiritual entity, as they seem to bring their presence in uniform and synchronistic style. The number five is the frequency strongly connected to angelic influence. It is also the number of creation which enables us to take a gamble or risk with a stronger likelihood of success or ability to keep trying when it is favour. This year, 2021 is a good year for angelic recognition and I have had lots of confirmation so far.

I have studied various theologies of angelic influence and appearance, biblical stories and religious ideals. I have come to a conclusion note I say ‘a’ rather than ‘the’, as it is my conclusion only - that ‘angels’ are a separate species created with purpose. They most certainly are of extra-terrestrial origin, yet not in ‘another planetary’ sense. I do not feel they are inter-realm or dimensional beings either, just that there are many truths, mixed in with fabrications or vain imaginings.
and I have recently heard one of my co-authors in Supernal Magazine share that same perspective in a discussion. To try and explain the inexplicable is pointless and, in the end, perhaps it doesn’t matter what they are, or why they are - just to acknowledge that ‘they are!’ This promotes an awakening of our deeper consciousness. A door to unknowing may be the best way to go, where surprises wait and a lesser-known type of realisation is nigh.
I feel that angels are also a form of inner consciousness, as part of their purpose is to engage with and assist the human species in its evolution of remembering our divine source of origin. To me, the idea that angels and demons are two halves of a whole, or the same persuasion, seems on point

The Origins of
Angels and Demons

What Are Angels and Demons? In preparation for writing this article and, not realising the rabbit warren I was entering, I conducted a little experiment. I asked a cross-section of people to describe to me an Angel and then after they had done so, I asked them to describe a Demon. Interestingly, all of the people I surveyed think of Angels as white, light, flowing gowned, wingedbeings who watch over our shoulders, keeping us safe, and who take people to the afterlife when they pass away. “When people described Demons, they said black or dark beings, often with horns and dragon or bat-like wings, who cause suffering and pain and trick people into things.” They also almost all mentioned exorcisms! Not one person described a Demon as Angelic. This was curious to me. I refer to my

own, very minimal religious education as a child. The only generic terms I use are The Dark Lord or He Who Shall Not Be Named - very Harry Potter, I know! The Book Of Enoch Enter the rabbit warren... To my knowledge, TBOE is the oldest apocalyptic text, speaking of the end of days. It’s a very controversial text since its modern discovery, has been the subject of many hypotheses over the last 75-odd years; this text amongst many others was found hidden in the Qumran Caves on the Northern shore of the Dead Sea, in 1947 by a bored Sheppard, throwing rocks. Hearing the sound of a breaking pot, he investigated and discovered the treasure-trove of between eight and nine hundred papyrus scrolls and manuscripts, hypothesised and believed by many to have been the archives of The Essenes. Enoch himself is an obscure character. The Great, Great, Great, Great Grandson of Adam and Eve and also Great Grand Father of Noah. Despite this, he appears very little in the original Hebrew Bible. In *The Book of Genesis (TBOG), he appears briefly in the book of Adam and, after fathering Methuselah and many other children the text says, Enoch walked 365 years and then he was no
feature more, because The Elohim took him away. This is an obscure vague statement, which leaves the aspirant wanting. Elohim translates to ‘The Powerful Ones’. It’s a term that describes all spiritual beings in the Bible. After researching these texts, this account makes sense to me of the many Bible statements, which are not otherwise contextual. Both accounts differ as to which was the original language and version of the book. In Ethiopia, is the one Church that accepts TBOE in the Canon of the Bible, which is comprised of: The Watchers, The Parables of Enoch, The Astronomical Book aka The Book of Luminaries, The Book of Dreams, and The Epistle of Enoch. They date from the 1st - 3rdC BCE, yet their
origins and authorship are unknown. In Chapters 85-90 there is a section of prophetic text that foretells the advent of The Essenes, then Jesus of Nazareth, then the 12 Apostles of Christianity. The Angelic Hierarchy
After an enormous amount of research, he published his first book, the first work of its kind, ‘Chariots of the Gods’. Whilst this text caused uproar across the world, it was the forerunner for an entire area of study, seeking to make sense of the Biblical stories, their relationship to other mythologies and ancient architecture, and the fantastical accounts described therein. Fallen Angels Within TBOE it describes a society of Fallen Angels called ‘The Watchers’, who were thrown out of Heaven (the skies) to Earth, for their sins. The other Angels that are part of the Elohim hierarchy are Seraphim, fiery warrior angels who guard God, and then the Cherubim which we often think of as cute chubby baby Angels with wings. Sorry, to burst this bubble for you... The next short video in this series describes them in their original and accurate form, four-winged, four-faced beasts of various types and whose sole role also is to guard the throne of ‘God’, the ‘Elohim of Elohim’. https://www.youtube.com/ watch?v=-bMRxQbLUlg Ophanim are another type of Angel or perhaps more accurately put an adjunct to the Cherubim, as Ezekiel describes in his prophecy, in the Book of Ezekiel. These Angels are Geometric; a wheel, within a wheel, covered in eyes, which do not turn. They are situated underneath the Cherubim and follow them wherever they go. Further in this vision, above the Cherubim is set firmament of crystal, upon which sat the Throne of God, from where God, spoke to Ezekiel. When they moved, they all moved as one. This coupled with the fact that Ezekiel delineates between the living beings - Cherubim and the Ophanim as not living.

It is precisely this detailed account within TBOE,... “...describing the interrelations between humans and off-world beings (Fallen Angels) and their interbreeding, that makes it so controversial, and why it has been excluded from the official Bible...” ... despite references by many Church forefathers to this content in TBOE and these tomes as scripture.

The Jewish Historian Josephus refers to the abduction and hybridisation of humans, as described in TBOE. He refers to it as historical fact, by the existence of Giants in his lifetime. He refers to TBOG C6, where the topic is referred to with no introduction and includes so briefly, the appearance of these beings and the occurrence, that it’s explained by Paul Wallis, author of Escaping from Eden, in the above Ancient Aliens episode, as evidence that the writer of TBOG C6, expects the reader has prior knowledge of this from

Paul Wallis goes on to explain that when one digs a little deeper into the old Biblical stories, you find yourself in the Ancient Sumerian texts, where they refer to Sky or Star People, described as ‘Observers’, in the same vein as ‘The Watchers’. ‘The Observers’ were sent to ‘stations in the stars’, which we humans would liken to space stations.
Due to the Jewish Faith’s preferred monotheistic God world view, decisions and edits were made in the 6th C BCE and then more by the Christian Faith, in the 2nd C onwards, to align their Biblical stories in the New Testament with the Jewish Canons, to create a Christian Bible. TBOE and other ancient texts did not fit with these ideals, as they included too many Gods, technologies, and entities, which counter the perspective, that we are alone in the Cosmos.
“So, thus far Angels are described as the non-sinning Elohim and the Fallen Angels the same species who were anti-virtuous and were then, ‘cast out of Heaven’ (their society in the sky)”... ...and who ultimately bred with humans, causing a rapid change in the consciousness, society and genetics of humanity. This begs the question “Why?” Why have the ancient accounts of offworld cultures interacting with humans all but been excised from the Jewish and Christian texts, for what purpose? If your mind isn’t reeling yet! Let’s go deeper... Archangels Archangel in Greek means ‘Chief Angel’. In the hierarchy of the Elohim they are described as being the closest to the ‘Elohim of Elohim,’ in charge of all of the other Angels, and whose collective role it is, to carry out ‘God’s Plan’. Each of the Archangels has a speciality, responsible for an aspect of the function of ‘God’s Creation’. Angels regardless of their position in the hierarchy of the Elohim are not human.

Humans Who Became Angels There are however two Archangels who are exceptions to this rule, as described in the Kabbalistic Mystery School they are twin brothers, Metatron attributed to holding the top ‘Kether’ (The God Head) and Sandalphon the bottom ‘Malkuth’ (Earth) of the Tree of Life. Archangel Metatron does not appear in the Bible, presumably one of those edits. However, he features in the 3rd part of TBOE, where Enoch himself, becomes Archangel Metatron. The name Metatron does sound like a Transformer and correlates, due to his Human to Elohim transformation. The prefix Meta has origins in Hebraic – ‘Keeper of the Watch, to guard and protect’, and Greek, ‘The One who occupies the space next to the throne’, a magical or metaphysical name meaning of or relating to the transcendent or reality beyond what is perceptible 26

to the senses. Metatron is also closely associated with Sacred Geometry.A shape through which all things can be created or destroyed. After being returned to Earth and doing so for thirty days, God praises his service and returns him to Heaven permanently. The Rabbi Ishmael in TBOE, when visiting Heaven, encounters Metatron and perceives Metatron to be the Archangel, above all others, as all other Angels bow to him. “When the Great Flood occurred Enoch was spared, ascended to Heaven and was transformed, by God. His body enlarged, given 72 sets of wings and the role of governing all Angels.”
Not without objection by the some Angels who were incensed about governance by a former mere Human. God quashed this, giving Metatron, Splendour, Beauty, Radiance and a throne of his own, he would be seated in God’s stead when God was away, busy with other tasks. Metatron was also given a crown more glorious than any other, hence all Archangels unhesitatingly bowed before him. All other Angels were to gain permission to speak with God, by speaking to Metatron first. He becomes privileged to many of God’s secrets and is given by Him, the nickname ‘The Lessor YAWEH’ second to Himself. This rank was not bestowed upon any other Angel, edifying God’s trust in Enoch/Metatron. In the Astral Dimension, it’s possible for beings to project themselves in another image...” ... which can confuse a person into engaging with them. This does not necessarily mean it’s a Demon. Most often it’s a misguided Earth-bound spirit. Demons come in many different forms; Everything from Demon King, Head Demons, Lessor Demons, Minions, down to BabyCurse Demons. Demons are always present as a form of testing of virtue. Until a person learns the soul lesson, the Demon will remain with them. There is always a FreeWill choice-point, conscious or unconscious involving some kind of emotional trauma, where the Demon or any being for that matter has become attached. The key to remember is, as a sovereign being no one and no thing has power over us, without permission. Any relationship can be cleared through identifying the choice point, rectifying the misalignment through Divine Law/Lore and dissolution of vows.
Once a person is ‘clear’, meaning they have successfully transformed all such blockages, and have connected with their unconditionally loving team in spirit, they occasionally encounter an Angel. Angels however have not ever been human (except Metatron and Sandalphon) and do not understand what it’s like to be in a body. Therefore their guidance can be impractical or difficult to understand at times. Proper process and training is vital – get some, otherwise do not attempt the above without an experienced Shaman. The 7 Deadly Sins and 7 Vital Virtues In Ancient Sumerian Mythology it is told of the Demon King and The Seven. Through my research it has become apparent that all of the Biblical texts have their Sumerian roots, therefore it is an easy conclusion that the 7-Deadly Sins are derived from here:

The following is from an interview with Fehr-Raew, who is a practitioner of ceremonial magick, and a member of the Hermetic order of the Red Dragon, which is based in the Golden Dawn. I asked Fehr-Raew his opinion on Angels and Demons. His response is transcribed here. “Okay, we can get very esoteric here. I tend to work more with the Goetic spirits than Angels. are the Goetic spirits, the demons, subconscious manifestations of your mind? Are you tapping into parts of your psyche through imagination, and causing a change within yourself? Are the Goetic spirits external energies, actual entities that you could cause to manifest before you in physical shape? I lean more towards them being physical entities. The Cajun Demonologist By Anthony Kilner Jereme Leonard is a Louisiana Boy from down south in the US of A. He’s got an amazing accent that sets you at ease from the get-go and has had some incredible experiences in the paranormal field and dealing with demons. I sat down with Jereme and received some great insight into his life. Who is Jereme Leonard The Cajun Demonologist? “I consider myself just an average guy; I am a husband, a father and a grandfather. I live my life like most people, and I become the Cajun demonologist when I am called upon. I like to go down to the river. I like to go fishing, hunting, and camping when I’m not working as a fire fighter.” Where does the Cajun come from? It references a person who lives in the US state of Louisiana and whose relations in the past were French-speaking Canadians. “I did most of training for demomonology around the Pennsylvania area, which is north, and I have also worked online with fellow spiritual warriors in that region as well. They gave me the nickname the Cajun Demonologist because I live in Louisiana. At first, I hated the name, but over the years I have learned to embrace it, and it has become part of who I am.”

I live my life like most people, and I become the Cajun demonologist when I am called upon.” You mentioned Spiritual Warfare – can you explain that? “Spiritual warfare is exactly what it says, it’s a battle that takes place spiritually in the mind and the heart of the exorcist or demonologist. It’s important that the demonologist understands how to walk in both the spirit and physical worlds, as most of all the battle takes place in the mind and in the heart. We also speak the rituals out loud in the physical world because the entity affects both the spiritual and the physical world.”
“Demons cannot do anything to us human beings against our free will. We have to invite demons into our lives.” What is demonology all about? “Demonology is the study of demons, or beliefs about demons, and the hierarchy of demons. How demons operate, what demons can and cannot do. It is also the study of many different theologies retaining to the subject of demons. It’s very intense.”

interview When did you meet your first Demon? “My first experience with a demon was doing an investigation in the home of a client who claims she went to a very popular tourist destination that was ‘hot’ and a demon followed her home. It was terrorizing her and her three daughters. As fate would have it, that night I saw this demon in a physical, solid form with my own two eyes. That event forever changed my life, in fact it is the very incident that led me down the path of demonology and spiritual warfare.” Who taught you about demonology? “I was taught the art of demonology by a retired Roman Catholic priest and exorcist, named Father Padre Joseph, from Pennsylvania. He was one of the most wonderful human beings that I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, let alone having him as my mentor. Everything that I am today is because of this great man!”
“When most people think about demons, they think of these nasty looking monsters, which are a Hollywood spin. In fact, demons can appear as ‘angels of light,’ beautiful in appearance.” Are demons similar to angels in a hierarchical sense? What about laws governing them? “When it comes to angels and demons, we must remember that demons were once angels who fell from grace. Demons, although they have been cast out, still have their angelic abilities.
“When it comes to demons, it’s important to understand that demons cannot do as they want, in fact, they are governed by a law - it is called the Heavenly Law. Demons cannot do anything to us human beings against our free will. We have to invite demons into our lives. They cannot just see us walking down the street and decide that they want to attach themselves to us, it does not work that way.”

What is permission? “A good question! To understand that, we must first understand that they are governed by what we call Heavenly Law. Demons have to be invited into our lives by our own free will. My response to them is always this: trust me when I tell you, you do not want to become a demonologist. I’m going to tell you to think about this: If you decide to walk through that door, you can never go back. These entities will forever stalk you, waiting for that moment when you are spiritually and
physically vulnerable to attack you and destroy everything you hold dear in your life. Even if you decide not to be a demonologist anymore, these entities don’t care, they will get their revenge.

They will seek and destroy!” In our phone chat you mentioned ‘paranormal obsession’ what is that? “Paranormal obsession is when being a paranormal investigator has completely taken over someone’s life, which means that they are obsessed with not being themselves but being a paranormal investigator. It consumes their entire life, and this can be deadly. “Here’s an example; if someone who is a paranormal investigator, and all they do is post paranormal related topics and subjects on their social media pages to the extent that they aren’t thinking about anything else, that is called obsession. An obsession is an open door to invite demonic entities into your life.”

“The battle is real; it is like an ‘angel versus demons’ scenario. The constant fight within yourself while using drugs is having to ride the highs and lows. You don’t recognise at the time, that the addiction causes fluctuations in your mood, mental health, your self-worth, self-esteem and confidence. You also feel like the stigma society places on addicts weighs heavily and then there is the behaviours that you’d rather not remember and the effect on your family and other relationships. All of these things can send you back into relapse. Once you understand the patterns and why they are present, you start to educate yourself out of despair and start to take control, rather than it’s controlling you, but it takes time.” - Anonymous When we think of addiction, or being an addict, we are often quick to think of those with alcohol or other drug issues and the addictive issues associated. The truth is, however, that addiction does

not discriminate and if we look closely into our own lives, many of us are entertaining some form of addiction. Whether it includes food, exercise, smoking, gambling, gaming, drugs and alcohol, sexual activity and the list could go on. When asked to simply give up and stop, it becomes apparent how challenging giving up an addiction can be.
“When we think of addiction, or being an addict, we are often quick to think of those with alcohol or other drug issues…” Heavily stigmatised in days gone by, addiction is now more understood and recognised to be a genuine medical condition and defined as when a person cannot give up either using or engaging in an activity, despite sometimes severe or catastrophic consequences. The challenge with any addiction is because an individual is often battling both a physical addiction (tolerance factors and
withdrawal symptoms) and also a psychological addiction (social, mental, emotional dependency factors). The brain’s pleasure centre is activated, which creates feelings of happiness and a high, but there is a complicated issue around tolerance – meaning more of the substance or activity is required over time to feel gratified. This tolerance effect can lead to a situation where

For those battling addiction, it can be a confusing, isolating and emotionally upsetting time, while impacting different people in many different ways – the cost of prolonged addiction affecting health and wellbeing, relationships, finances, life goals and achievements.

Generally these are known to be our genetics (how we are wired), environmental factors (learned environment, bonding factors, life quality or exposure to trauma) and lifestyle factors (our choices to engage in certain activities, like using substances).
Gaining control: Understanding the stages of change A person can move back and forward through any of these stages, as recovery can often be a dynamic rather than linear process. I. Pre-contemplation: This is a stage where there is no awareness of a problem, or consequences to the addiction. There is no intention in changing any behaviour. II. Contemplation: Increasing awareness that there is a problem with addiction but no intention or commitment to change. III. Preparation: Awareness that there is a problem and making plans to create change while feeling highly motivated to follow through. IV. Action: Full commitment to change and taking active steps. V. Maintenance: Continuing to take action. Replacing old habits with new habits that support current goals. VI. Relapse: A slip or regression back to old patterns or behaviours. – Prochaska and DiClemente (1983)

I have a confession to make: I am a Geek. I love comics, science-fiction, superheroes and the supernatural. Interestingly enough I missed something all these years of collecting comics and watching movies – I missed some very important messages which I only discovered recently. I am eagerly awaiting the Shang-Chi movie, about a superhero based on Bruce Lee. I know that Lee had an uphill battle in Hollywood because, at the time, they used white actors to portray other nationalities. Something that still happens from time to time even now: Hollywood white washing. Lee was told he was too Chinese for parts that were written as Oriental characters. I was brought up to ‘Treat others the way you would like to be treated,’ regardless of their race, religion or sexual

As a kid, none of those things mattered people were just people so no wonder I missed these important messages. Some people have a problem with the way characters are portrayed in the new movies, however it has always been like this yet the message is now clear. I cannot take full credit for the words below and the origin of the author is unfortunately lost to social media obscurity. I have added some pieces to the list. These are some powerful words to be considered. • X-Men is about civil rights. If you didn’t get that, you didn’t get X-Men.
• Black Panther is about colonisation. If you didn’t get that, you didn’t get Black Panther. • Captain America literally fought Nazis. He is the embodiment of fighting white supremacy. If you didn’t get that, you didn’t get Captain America. • The Empire in Star Wars is fascist. The Rebel Alliance is anti-fascist. If you didn’t get that, you didn’t get Star Wars. • Doctor Who is about an alien fighting for all of humanity in spite of totalitarian regimes. If you don’t get that, you don’t get Doctor Who. • The Punisher isn’t meant to be a role model for police or armed forces. So much so, that the writers of The Punisher made him actively speak out against it in a comic.

As early as the mid-60s it was taking a pro-choice stance and defending women’s right to choose. One of its clearest themes is accepting different cultures and appearances and working together for peace. It’s also anti-capitalist and pro-vegan. If you didn’t get that, you didn’t get Star Trek. • Superman, Wonder Woman and a whole host of other superheroes are immigrants. The stance of those comics is pro-immigration and proequality and acceptance. If you didn’t get that, you didn’t get Superman or Wonder Woman.

If you didn’t get that, you didn’t get Shang-chi. • Stan Lee said, “Racism and bigotry are among the deadliest social ills plaguing the world today.” If you’re bigoted or racist, you didn’t get any of the characters Stan Lee created.
The stories we grew up with taught us to value other people and cultures and to treasure the differences between us. Only villains were xenophobic, sexist, racist or totalitarian. I can’t understand how anyone can have missed that. If you’re upset that there’s a black Spider-Man, a black Captain America, a female Thor, that Ms Marvel is Muslim, that Captain Marvel was pro-feminism or any of the other things right-wing ‘fans’ say is ‘stealing their childhood’, you never got it in the first place. The things you claim are now ‘pandering to the lefties’, were never on your side to begin with. If you consider yourself a fan of these things yet you still think the LGBTQ+ community is too ‘in your face’, that you have a problem with Black Lives Matter or you want to ‘take the country back from immigrants’, then you’re not really a fan at all. You are a tourist. Geek culture isn’t suddenly left-wing... It always was left-wing. You just grew up to be intolerant. You became

Plant Intelligence Living in the gaian Mind

From the time of Aristotle, and even in our so called modern world, intelligence is ascribed to animals with humans at the top. Generally, humans consider intelligence to be a combination of the attributes found in Aristotle’s characterisation of the soul. “There are two distinctive peculiarities by reference to which we characterize the soul (1) local movement and (2) thinking, discriminating, and perceiving. Thinking both speculative and practical is regarded as akin to a form of perceiving; for in

the one as well as the other the soul discriminates and is cognizant of something which is.” Aristotle, from De anima We can add to the Aristotelian characterises; communicating, reaction to external conditions, social interaction, self-preservation, memory, and a brain to co-ordinate all these abilities. I saw an enlightening documentary on the display of plant intelligence in an environment that held a life threatening situation for some acacia plants in Northeast South Africa. Entitled, In the Mind of Plants and was filmed in late 1980 during a severe drought in the Limpopo Savanna.

The water dried up and the only food available to the Kudu, large herbivores on the Savanna, was the various spices of acacia trees that were thriving on the game ranches. The Limpopo Savanna supports a number of ranches and wild life reserves, the owners of which felt some relief in knowing that the kudu on their properties would survive the drought. “Their relief was short lived as the Kudu on some of the ranches began to die in large numbers for no obvious reason.” The various tests undertaken by the ranchers did not reveal the cause. The Kudu seemed healthy and yet thousands of these beautiful animals lay dead across the landscape.
gaian Conciousness The property owners employed Professor Wouter Van Hovien, a biologist, who specialised in great African herbivores. Van Hovien found that Kudu mortalities were isolated to the ranches where animal numbers exceeded the size of the ranch. He discovered that mortality was density related. Van Havien examined the contents of the Kudu intestines and found poor fermentation of plant material. Like cows, Kudu rely on fermentation to break down plant matter for digestive efficiency. What was preventing this important process that delivers nutrients to the Kudu? Van Havien and his team found extremely high levels of tannins in the Kudu liver tissue. Tannin is a compound plants use to defend themselves against an aggressive insect and caterpillar attack. Normal tannin levels easily flush through the liver of large herbivores yet in this case, the high levels being produced by the acacia to protect its own survival was four times greater than plants of less populated ranches. This caused the slow gut fermentation process to occur, eventually killing the animal.
“The tree responds to over utilisation. Because the trees protect themselves, that’s chemical defence. They don’t want to be eaten all day, because then they are going to die.” Prof. Wouter Van Hovien, from the documentary In The Mind of Plants. They found that the trees that weren’t being eaten also had very high levels of tannins which led them to trap and test the air around the stems of the acacia trees. “It was remarkable; they found that the over-grazed trees were emitting, from their stems, an odourless and colourless gas known as ethaline.” When ethaline is released into the air it is usually carried in the direction of the wind, when the gas meets a tree with all its leaves intact, it is trapped by the foliage and affects the mitochondria within the cells of the leaves. The affected mitochondria, in turn, produce enzymes which catalysis the production for more tannin, the plants defence against the Kudu and its own extinction. “As with all self-organized systems, plants continually monitor their internal and external worlds for
informational/functional shifts in their relevant fields. If they are focusing externally, once they note a shift, they work to identify its nature and meaning, and its likely impact on their functioning. Then they craft a response.” Stephen Harrod Buhner, Author of Plant Intelligence and the Imaginal Realm. The research to determine what was ailing the Kudu opened scientific discussion to the reality that plants have social skills, and perhaps a consciousness that prompts them to warn their neighbours of eminent danger. “The investigation further showed that plants are sensitive to keeping the balance within their eco-system.” A practice their human family struggle with daily. May we learn from the wisdom of our plant teachers and live in balance with each other and our Mother Earth.

Dog Moon Each moon cycles through a ‘solar year’ of time, space and frequency. Thirteen moons, synchronising us with the motion of ‘ultra’ dimensional time waves, revolutions of quasars we could never dream of with our currently underdeveloped human mind. Our time is coming – albeit not in my foreseeable future. Perhaps many reincarnations over a thousand years, definitely less than five thousand – that much I know. So why ponder where we, as current individuals, will ne’er tread? Simply because setting an intention never hurts when one is thinking about manifestation! Having turned the pages of the 13 Moon Almanac of the Law of Time, my true calendar of days, we step from the previous Solar Moon of Intention to the Planetary Moon of Manifestation. Setting intention and perfecting the energy with the love, loyalty and compassion of the dog totem, this moon enables the keys for a manifestation from which you will not want to run a million miles.

A rather biblical tone spirit is downloading with today’s writing. I understand that any bible or religious text, no matter what standard, edition, version or teachings are involved, is in reality a manifesto to be utilised in the modern world and eons to come. When one understands the true meanings of the stories, proverbs, fables and affected realities that lie within the pages and also realise the words have numeric codes and frequencies, which are written and set with intention, we may join ourselves willingly and knowingly as part of the eternal cycle. The spins of the cogs of time, each seemingly repeating moon, sunrise, and sunset, are unique, never before experienced and infinite in terms of manifestation.

The Winds of Change By Jane Offer

During a recent conversation with some remarkably diverse thinking people, one question came to the fore: What is the difference between opinion and judgement? Eventually, a consensus was reached. They felt that an opinion is a unique view of an individual or situation based in limited personal experience and knowledge, whereas a judgement is when those strongly biased views are used to objectify another because they look, behave or think differently. Over centuries, certain groups have placed others in a negative light, seeing them as less than, or even bad or evil in some way. Humanity has traditionally used this method of vilifying others to feel safe and right in their own way of being. Our perception of self is created from contrast, and to gain our sense of identity, we
evaluate ourselves through comparison to others. This can result in a feeling of superiority often perceiving others as inferior, demonising them in the process. Historically we have witnessed enormous prejudices generated and atrocities committed, from the judgement of different religious beliefs, backgrounds, cultures and education levels, to status in society and gender. And it still happens today!
“As the old habit drops away, confusion takes its place and we feel vulnerable, primarily concerned about our survival, health and wellness.” We condemn it, yet, in our own way, we can fall prey to the habit of judging something we do not understand.

Therefore, it is important to challenge our thoughts before we speak or act. Any change in our personal environment can activate the sense of challenge to our foundation, resulting in feelings of vulnerability, both real or imagined, and the inner fear this can bring. Our primeval response is to protect ourselves, and this survival factor is used to justify actions that undermine another emotionally, mentally or physically. When this pattern goes unchecked, it can escalate into bullying, abusive behaviour and, in the extreme, demonising another person, group, community or culture. Lack of knowledge generates fear of the unknown, and fear seems to be at the basis of judging others. The fear factor has enormous value in making us aware of danger, however when that fear becomes active resistance or resentment towards another, we are moving towards demonisation.

health and wellbeing We see this habitual behaviour widely in TV reality shows that encourage demonisation of individuals or behaviour, in biased news broadcasts where nation is set against nation, the list is endless. As a positive result of the recent periods of isolation, more people are starting to generate the desire for peace and harmony in their lives. They are realising the problem, and are developing constructive ways for people to join together. However, to make a change we must first understand diversity and see its value. “Do not judge another until you have walked a mile in their moccasins” is a Native American saying that indicates a way for potential changes to take place. These deeply entrenched habits are forged in our past, from times when the need for food and supplies were paramount, where ritual and tradition were the fabric of a culture, and where the preserving of the blood line was important.
Whilst we can see the purpose of them protecting what they knew and valued, life is changing, creating a time for a more inclusive way to live in a multi-faceted community. We all desire to ‘fit in’ and slowly we are realising that our purpose is to stand out, to be the absolute best we can. Our ability to do so rests in understanding that the people around us are examples not annoyances. In the same way that our forebears had limited knowledge of others, the same applies to us. We can only guess at what another is feeling, thinking or intending, filtered through our own patterns. Assumption does not equal truth; it is what it is, pure guesswork.

We cannot see the beauty of another through the eyes of judgement.
Others exemplify for us what certain behaviour looks and feels like. The outcome of others’ choices allows us to see the results that we may or may not want to include in our own life. The revelations and conflict we are currently experiencing are all part of the same process of change. As the old habit drops away, confusion takes its place and we feel vulnerable, primarily concerned about our survival, health and wellness. When we are under pressure, we are likely to revert to habitual assumption and demonise our perceived threat. This is our turning point, the time to be aware of our thoughts and embrace diversity rather than fear it. Placing a judgement on the process would be counterproductive. When we see the gift, we lose the judgement and embrace an enlightened viewpoint. It is said that we have an angel on each shoulder, one light and one dark. They constantly speak to us and it is our choice which one we hear. Remember, without one, the other would have no value. They are not opposites; they are both angels and are equal parts of the same principle – the gift of discernment.

Spirit of things Tarot and its Symbolism By Samantha Duly Let’s take a look at some aspects of the mysterious world of Tarot. I recently interviewed Sue Yarwood, a tarot teacher and medium from Perth. Sue is very passionate and has had a deep interest in Tarot for twenty years, working as a reader for seven years and teaching it for the last five. Sue even remembers when she bought her first deck. The Tarot deck that Sue works and teaches with is the Rider Waite deck. This was first created in 1909 by Arthur Waite and Pamela Coleman Smith. It has been widely researched over the years and is easily accessible to the public. It is also regarded as the most traditional deck to learn. When Sue first embarked on her interest in the Tarot, she felt she had an instant ‘soul recognition’ and that it really allowed her to step into her own personal journey of being at one with herself. She teaches her students that the journey of self is paramount. Sue explained that symbolism plays an enormous part in how she teaches. She believes the

realm of symbolism shows the bigger picture. For example, lightning bolts, which symbolise divine intervention, down to tiny details, like a snail moving slowly and steadily forward. She says that the Tarot is a truly symbolic world of mystery: that it is the hidden symbolism in the cards where the magic really happens and the reading comes alive.
“If you have a reading in the future, always remember that the truth always comes out in the Tarot card, so there is nowhere to hide!” People should allow the Tarot to show them the way, encouraging the reader to get out of their head and into their heart, letting the Tarot speak. Sue truly believes in lifelong learning and she offers a year-long course for her students, including homework. She feels that with each group she takes through, she is ever evolving too. In each of her readings no spread is read the same; working with spirit to show her the symbolism makes every reading unique.
mediumship It can represent hope, faith, souls’ purpose, spirituality, emotional balance, chakra healing, and will also show your vibrational energy. Sue loves to look at the Star in respect of ‘no matter what life throws you’, you are always connected to the divine, as long as you believe in the power that is you! The big star on the card represents your soul’s spark, a big beautiful light shining out into the world. The smaller stars represent your chakras and the bird is a divine messenger or your spirit guide. The water represents your emotions and the ripple, your vibration. What you send out into the world is what ripples back, so it is important to keep your vibration pure. The naked woman depicted on the card shows vulnerability at being your open self and also being open to all possibilities. It is a beautiful card and a welcomed sight in any reading.

The Tarot also has the ability to bring through past life experiences and to connect to guides and guardians. Offering a definition of one of her favourite cards, The Star, Sue explained it’s one of the biggest and brightest of the deck. It is also one of two wish fulfilment cards.

Interestingly enough red in the Tarot can represent all ailments of the blood and, depending on which card it is shown, what the issue is.

Symbolism and colours are everything and work in conjunction in the Tarot. Without going into the Freudian ponderings that may dig too deep and take too long to answer, sometimes we just need to ask our ‘Angels’ for assistance to release the remembered horror of it from our system and erase the memory somewhat.
We may roam astral realms, that are unpleasant to say the least and, whether it be a valid experience, a part of our imagination or something deep within our psyche, the first thing to do is to ease the discomfort. It is much easier to explore and think it out when we have time, calm and space to do so. Hindsight brings answers and at the time of the event, we may not have journeyed far enough along to have the correct perspective under our belt.

a reader’s story
I dumped my bags on the ground and let out a big sigh of relief. I’d made it to the AirBnB.
I woke up, heart racing. I stared at the end of my bed. Nothing there, however I knew my experience was real – I was tested on my irresponsibility for directing wrath and arrogance when I felt afraid at times. Since then I’ve felt massive relief.

I looked around observing the chandeliers and old fashioned decorations. It was a beautiful, big room. I unpacked my belongings, settling in for the night, feeling exhausted and ready for bed. Before laying my heavy head on the pillow, I whispered the energy cleansing and protection affirmations, which is my usual routine. I could not remember falling asleep! In fact, I felt as though I was still wide awake, finishing off my clearings, when as vivid as life, a dark hooded shadow sat heavily on the end of my bed. Immediately I felt fear and shock - not knowing what to do for a moment. A woman showed her face quickly, smiling and screaming flew towards me. She somehow threw me into the wall, and I bounced off it.

Suddenly my shamanic training came online! I realised it was a dream intrusion. This was a Mother Demon with the ability to use such force. Whilst in mid-flight I took a deep breath and said to myself, “I am a sovereign being of light. No one and no thing has power over me. They never have and never will! My mind filled with everything I love in life, and I perceived a pink light coming from my heart chakra. I asked myself, “What does this demon want?” Remembering they teach life lessons. Instantaneously knowing my lesson was wrath and arrogance towards others in life. After hitting the wall, I thanked the demon for taking time out of her busy schedule to visit and teach me. I assured her that I understand my lesson and I will now be mindful of my thoughts and blaming others. The demon nodded. I asked if she could leave now in peace, and slowly she disappeared.

I realise I was trapped in a never-ending cycle, when I was simply feeling afraid of being my authentic-self. I’ve changed by taking responsibility for my thoughts and feelings. Family and friends have noticed this, and our relationships are closer. This dream intrusion was certainly an eye opener. I feel blessed at my own strength to learn my lesson and grow in love.
