The City of Hollywood will host the annual Veterans Day Barbecue on Monday, November 11th at TY Park, 3300 N. Park Road in Hollywood in the Corporate Pavilion #12, beginning at 12 p.m. The barbecue will honor Hollywood men and women who are currently serving or are veterans of the armed forces. Each year, the members of the Hollywood City Commission help serve food and greet local veterans in a celebration of their service. All Hollywood military personnel, veterans and up to four guests are invited to this special event to commemorate their service to our country in a fun and festive way. This picnic-style occasion is put together to honor local Hollywood veterans and active service members in celebration of Veterans Day. Now in its seventh year, the barbecue serves as a chance for residents to give back to local Veterans, active military personnel and their families by volunteering during an afternoon of fun, entertainment and delicious food. Traditional barbecue fare is on the menu with barbecue chicken, hamburgers, baked beans, coleslaw, corn on the cob, fruit salad, cookies and brownies, and an assortment of beverages. In addition to great food and camaraderie, the
