The fashionable aspect of it is secondary, only because you need to wear them. I was diagnosed with myopia at the age of nine years. Wearing glasses has not been an issue until lately because of constraints within my professional career. I am a petroleum engineer from Trinidad and Tobago, and am required to wear safety glasses as part of daily field operations. Being a contemporary styled young man, I resented the use of those unsightly prescription safety glasses with sideshields, and the use of my regular prescription glasses with pullover safety glasses was not a comfortable fit; nor was it convenient to wear my contact lenses daily in the
