Huntley recognized by the Miami Dolphins It was only fitting that at the final Miami Dolphins game of the 2015 season against the New England Patriots that Hallandale High’s all-time leading passer, Tyler Huntley, would be honored as South Florida Player of the Year. Headed to the University of Utah this week to start college, Huntley led the Chargers to the best finish in school history, going three rounds deep in the state playoffs. Huntley, who was presented the award by former Dolphin great Troy Drayton, was also named the State of Florida Gatorade Player of the Year. Huntley attracted national attention this season when in three games, which included 7A power St.

Thomas Aquinas and Miami Jackson, he threw for 1,500 yards and 18 touchdowns. With his graduation and the announcement last week that head coach Dameon Jones was stepping down, the Chargers are now looking for some quality players and coaches to keep it going.

MOLD AND YOUR HEALTH We are exposed to many kinds of mold both indoors and outdoors. The exposure is greater in damp or wet conditions, especially

when time drying out does not have a chance to occur. Of the thousands of molds that exist, some are known allergens (aggravating or causing skin, eye and respiratory problems) and a few molds produce harmful mycotoxins that can cause serious problems. But all molds, in the right conditions and high enough concentrations, are capable of adversely affecting human health. The potential for health problems occurs when people ––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––––– 1ST PRIORITY, Page 3A
