Poppies & Poppyfields Nursery Welcome back!

A huge welcome to our returning families and our new starters. Our priority is to ensure every child settles well after the holidays, and also to support our new children in developing positive relationships with staff as a happy child is ready and enthusiastic to learn! We have a lovely half term planned, with settling-in activities, talking about holidays, beach visits, travelling and transport. We are also looking at seasonal changes as our nature areas start their preparations for the Autumn months. Children enjoy nature treasure hunts, gathering items of similar colours to create collages, enjoying the changes in colours, textures and the smells as summer comes to an end. We are also starting to think about hibernation, in preparation for our next topic.

For enquiries at either Poppies or Poppyfields (8-6, Monday - Friday nursery care and Breakfast/After School Club for Reception children at St Marys, and Reception to Year 2 children at Fairfield Park Lower School, Dickens Boulevard, please contact billpoppies@gmail.com.
