Thiem players In February, World No. 3 tennis player Dominic Thiem stopped by Fawkner Park to train with our Senior Girls Tennis Squad before taking to the court in the Australian Open. Dominic joked that he was impressed by the students all donning the Austrian flag for his visit, before the students informed him that the red and white colours are also those of St Michael’s! Dominic went on to a strong start in the Australian Open, even defeating Australian Nick Kyrgios along the way, before being eliminated by Grigor Dimitrov in Round 4.
