Dean repaired family relationships and because of his sobriety, was able to be there for the birth of his grandaughter. He shared photos of the newborn with people at Step for weeks, beaming with pride.
When Jason found out his application had been approved, he became very emotional. He was clearly very relieved and overwhelmed about the journey he was about to take. Over the course of the next several months, I saw Jason transform into the leader he is today. He is now at Step Sober Living and has a light in him that anyone who talks to him for a few seconds can see.
Tim recently took time to sit with a homeless man who was struggling and talked with him about recovery. He is giving away the hope that has been given to him and his story is proof of what's possible for those still suffering.
