Monthly Memo July dawns and so does the realization that 2022 is now half over. Where has the time gone? If you haven’t yet committed to those new year’s resolutions to live healthier or exercise more, there’s still time and the Center is the perfect place to start. We are now offering more time slots for our fitness classes. Be sure to check out page 5 of this newsletter for a full listing, or stop in and chat with Tracy and Heather. If you’re looking to get out and travel, the Center is holding a September trip to see “David” at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster. Seats are filling fast, so stop in soon to reserve your spot. Also, we are partnering with Collette Travel to offer a 2023 trip to the Pacific Northwest. Full details for both trips are on page 6.

The Center at the Mall is a program of the Lutheran Service Society. It is operated in cooperation with the Beaver County Office on Aging.

Lastly, if you’re just looking to beat the heat and relax, stop in and enjoy hot dog day on July 7th, a pancake breakfast on July 20th, or pizza day on July 26th. Happy July! -Dallas

Activities and programs offered at the Center are possible through the efforts of our volunteers. We are thankful to all who volunteer to make our Center a safe, interactive area for seniors. If you are interested in volunteering, please speak with a staff member.
