ello and welcome to the October edition of the Inside Shoreham and Southwick Magazine. Autumn has arrived with, of course, the rainy weather. With the heat of the summer gone we head into the cooler months when we have less light and longer periods of darkness. This year the clocks go back an hour on Sunday 27th October. In this month’s issue you can read about Shoreham Horticultural Society from 1950s onwards; in fact it’s the second part of Judy Uptons look at the developments of the society in Shoreham. We also have the latest from St Barnabas on Hospice Care Week in October. Gardening this month with Mark Oakley and on the 20th of this month it will be National Osteoporosis Day. We have great advice from Jenny Davys of Shoreham Osteopathy Centre. There is much to read in this month’s issue. We hope you enjoy this month’s edition. On that note, I would like to thank all our contributors for this month and all the local businesses that you find within these pages. Many have been with us since day one.
