LEGACY GIVING
Estate and planned gifts through the SouthCoast Community Foundation are an excellent way to establish a charitable legacy. Our expertise and passion for change in this region make us the ideal partner for charitable donors looking to invest in our community in perpetuity. Two funds were established this last year that will have a lasting impact:
EDITH B. WISLOCKI FUND Edith Wislocki named SouthCoast Community Foundation in her will and signed the necessary paperwork to create a field of interest fund that will preserve open space in Rehoboth and Bristol County and support nonprofits that have animals central to their mission.

SUZANNE AND SHARON AREIAS ANIMAL WELFARE FUND This donor-advised fund is focused on animals. The primary area of interest will be to assist in the cost of spaying and neutering and was created by Dr. Sharon Areias Trahan in memory of her late sister and parents. Sharon intends to contribute to the fund annually and has also named The Foundation in her will.
