NIA's major action against 'Gazwa Al Hind' organization in Gujarat, raids in Surat, Vapi and Botad

Ahmedabad: NIA raids took place in Gujarat today on March 23. The NIA team raided the locations of people associated with 'Ghazwa Al Hind' at different places in Botad, Surat and Vapi in the state. Along with Gujarat, the NIA team also conducted investigations in Nagpur and Gwalior

A total of 7 locations in Maharashtra, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh raided the locations of people belonging to 'Ghazwa Al Hind' working with Al Qaeda.

Where were the raids in Gujarat?

In Gujarat, the NIA team conducted a search operation in Surat. Along with this, raids were also conducted in Ranpur of Vapi and Botad. The NIA team has reached the residences of Mohammad Sohail in Surat, Faraz Khan in Vapi and Abdul Vaid in Ranpur and started the operation.

Notably, on January 6 this year, the NIA filed a charge sheet against an accused in the Special NIA Court of Bihar in this case Also, on March 15, the National Investigation Agency registered a case related to a terror conspiracy to radicalize the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, target communities, security personnel, religious programs and minorities by banned organizations based in Pakistan And 15 places were checked
