Surat: The incidence of heart attack among young people is continuously increasing in the state. So far cases of heart attack were coming up in the cricket field, now the case of a young man having a heart attack while doing yoga is coming up. A 44-year-old youth died of a heart attack while doing yoga early in the morning in Kiran Chowk area of Surat.

Meanwhile, he was complaining of stomach irritation and acidity since morning. He started yoga after freshening up and it was during this time that he collapsed. So he was immediately shifted to the nearest hospital. Where the doctors declared him dead. Following the incident, friends and family members were left in mourning.
It is noteworthy that in Surat and Rajkot, about 6 to 7 youths have died due to heart attack while playing or after playing cricket. In Ahmedabad too, a GST employee suffered a heart attack during a cricket tournament for government employees. In such a situation, the problem of increasing heart attack among the youth is becoming serious.
