Ausflugsziele

Weiter taleinwärts in Sölden geht es mit der Gondel auf 3.000 Meter, wo im James Bond Museum 007 Elements am Gaislachkogl eine aufwändige cineastische Installation mit Filmrequisiten, Sound- und Videoeffekten uvm. aufwartet. Ebenso schön und zudem ziemlich imposant, der Stuibenfall – Tirols größter Wasserfall mit einer Höhe von knapp 160 Meter.

2 Ausflugsziele

Der Sommer im Ötztal ist meist sportlich und spielt sich großteils hoch oben auf dem Berg ab. Zwischendurch sorgen unten im Tal zahlreiche Ausflugsziele und Kraftplätze für Erholung und ein bisschen Kultur.

Beschaulicher wird es hingegen am Talschluss im Bergsteigerdorf Vent (8) oder bei den geschichtsträchtigenRofenhöfen (9), wo einst Friedl mit der leeren Tasche Zuflucht gefunden hat.

WIDIVERSUM HOCHOETZ

Im vorderen Ötztal wartet mit dem WIDIVERSUM in Hochoetz ein aufregendes Familienabenteuer auf 2.020 m Seehöhe. Auf der Suche nach dem Zauberkristall lernen Kinder spielerisch die heimische Fauna und Flora kennen und erkunden gemeinsam mit Bergschaf und Maskottchen WIDI lustige Spielstationen. Neben dem gefundenen Zauberkristall wird man außerdem mit einer traumhaften Aussicht auf das Ötz- und Inntal belohnt. ••• The WIDIVERSUM in Hochoetz is an exciting family adventure at 2,020 m above sea level in the front Ötztal valley. In search of the magic crystal, children learn about the local flora and fauna in a playful way and explore fun play stations together with mountain sheep and mascot WIDI. In addition to the magic crystal they can find, they are also rewarded with a fantastic view of the Ötz and Inn valleys.

Hoch hinaus geht es bei einer Überquerung der Hängebrücke Längenfeld bei Burgstein. 200 Meter über festem Boden bietet sich hier ein traumhafter Weitblick über das Talbecken von Längenfeld.

EXCURSION DESTINATIONS

Summer in the Ötztal is mostly sporty and takes place high up on the mountain. In between, down in the valley, numerous excursion destinations and power spots provide relaxation and a bit of culture.

A favourite place and almost a must on a summer holiday in the Ötztal is the Piburger See lake (1) above Ötz. A natural jewel to swim in, hike around and marvel at. Equally beautiful and also quite imposing, the Stuibenfall (2) – Tyrol’s largest waterfall with a height of almost 160 metres. Combined with a journey back in time to a time far in the past in the Ötzi village (3) or a visit to the bird of prey park (4), this is a successful excursion for the whole family. High above it all is a crossing of the Längenfeld suspension bridge (5) near Burgstein. 200 metres above solid ground, you have a fantastic view over the valley basin of Längenfeld. And beyond. Further into the valley in Sölden you can take the gondola up to 3,000 metres, where the James Bond Museum (6) 007 Elements at Gaislachkogl offers an elaborate cinematic installation with film props, sound and video effects and much more. The perfect martini (shaken, of course, not stirred) can then be enjoyed at the Ice Q (7) – the filming location of the 24th Bond film Spectre. On the other hand, it is more tranquil at the end of the valley in the mountaineering village of Vent (8) or at the Rofenhöfe (9), steeped in history, where Friedl once found refuge with his empty bag. And motorbike fans will find a top-class collection and historical exhibition of motorbikes, scooters and other vehicles in the newly built TOP Mountain Motorcycle Museum Crosspoint (10)at the Timmelsjoch toll.
