Teacher Appreciation Teacher Appreciation Week is this week, however, we will be celebrating our teachers on Wednesday, May 10th. Our BHCS teachers educate, support and love their students. It would be nice to show your child(ren)’s teachers how much they are appreciated. Please consider sending a little token of appreciation for all they do for our children. Some suggestions might be a personal thank you note, cookies, candy, note cards, gift card, or even classroom materials such as stickers, books, etc. We would like to say “Thank You” to all our BHCS teachers…..we appreciate each and everyone of them. Muffins for Moms We are inviting our Moms to come to Sacred Heart Campus on Friday, May 12 th to share a muffin with your child(ren). We hope that you are able to join us on the 12 th from 7:45 a.m.8:30 a.m. in the school gymnasium. If Mom is unable to attend, a Grandma, or a special Aunt may come. Donuts for Dads Thank you to all our Dads, Grandpas and Uncles who were able to attend Donuts for Dads on Friday, April 28th. The turnout was great! It was a joy to see the students enjoying time and conversation with their loved ones. April Box Top Winners Congratulations to Mrs. Dry’s Kindergarten class for being April’s Box Top winners. A dress down day for Mrs. Dry’s class will be on Friday, May 12th. Bogo Book Fair The Scholastic Book Fair is back! The Buy-One-Get-One-Free fair runs May 15-19 during school hours, just in time to stock up on some summer reading for your child. Please be on the lookout for the volunteer sign-up sheet coming home soon! Thanks!! May Crowning Please join us on Monday, May 8th at 9:15 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church as our second grade students will be leading us in the crowning ceremony. The second graders are to wear their First Communion clothes to school. Students will change into their school uniform after May Crowning.
Grade Six Shadow Day On May 10th our 6th graders will be going to SJCC for a shadow day from 11:00 A.M.- 2:00 p.m. They will take a bus to the high school and lunch will be provided for them. Shop with Scrip Last week, information about the Shop with Scrip Program was sent home. If you are interested in this tuition credit program for the 2018-19 school year, please fill out the registration form and return to school, or registration can also be done online at www.shopwithscrip.com. Orders sent in by Friday will be ordered on Sunday. If you need a copy of the registration form, please contact the school office. Flower Delivery Please mark your calendars that geraniums/flowers will be delivered on Tuesday, May 9th. Orders can be picked up between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Last week a volunteer slip was sent home asking for help sorting flowers. If you are able to help, please send the volunteer slip to school before next Tuesday. Any help will be appreciated. Band Concert There will be a band concert to be held on May 11th at 7:00 p.m. in the SJCC gym. Please come and enjoy the evening listening to our band students' performances.
