Spring Testing All scholarship students in grades 3 - 8 will test end-of-course in the Spring of each year per the outlined subject area assessments directed by ODE. ELA assessment window will be March 21 April 6th. Math , Science, Social Studies assessments window will be April 24th - May 12th. MAP Testing Window: April 3 - 28, 2017, All grades K - 8 Make-Up Window: May 1 - 5, 2017 Staying in at Recess Students who are well enough to come to school should be well enough to go outside. There may be an exception for a day, however, if a student needs to stay in from outdoors more than a day, a doctor's note is required. Also, please make sure your students are dressed for the weather. It is not too warm yet. Hats, gloves, and jackets are still needed for outdoor recess. Report Cards Report Cards will go home this Friday, March 24th. Please sign and return report card cover. Kindergarten Screening Packet Kindergarten screening packets were mailed several weeks ago. Paperwork was due back to the school office by March 13th. If you have not returned your forms yet, please do so right away. Thank you. Flower Sale Our annual Heartbeat flower sale will begin today, March 23rd thru April 19th. Enclosed with this newsletter you will find information and an order form for this sale. Expected delivery of flowers is May 9th, 2017.
Spring Picture Return All spring picture packets and or money were due back in the office on Monday, March 13th. There are still quite a few pictures that have not been returned. Please send either your pictures or money to school by tomorrow. Thank you. Spring Program Please mark your calendar for April 10th. Grades K-6 will be participating in our Spring Program “A Disney Celebration.� The afternoon program will be at 1:00 p.m. and the evening performance at 6:30 p.m. Confirmation Please keep our BHCS, PSR and CCD 8th grade students in your prayers. This Sunday, March 25, at the Holy Rosary Cathedral in Toledo, these students will be receiving the sacrament of Confirmation.
