Cafeteria Help Wanted We are looking to hire a cafeteria cook for the 2017-18 school year. The job consist of approximately 20 hours a week at $9.00 an hour pay. The job follows the school calendar. If interested, please contact Diane Snider, cafeteria manager, at 419-332-7102 or 419-334-4530. Cafeteria Monitor Currently we are looking for a paid cafeteria monitor to finish out the school year. There is the possibility of continue employment for the following school year. For more information, please call the school office at 419-332-7102. Shop With Scrip This program enables families to purchase gift certificates (that are purchased at less than face value) and the difference will be applied to their tuition account for the 2018-2019 school year! The program will run through April 1-March 30 each year. Angela Ash is the official scrip coordinator and can be emailed or called with questions. We are using bhcsscrip@bishop-hoffman.net for the email account. Please read the enclosed information giving details of this program. May Virtue The virtue for the month of May is Zeal. Zeal is loving God so much that it gives you energy. Enclosed is a home discussion and activity sheet for students to work on. New Flag Thank you to Mr. Bill Sielschott, grandfather of Gabby Santiago, for donating a new flag to Sacred Heart Campus. We appreciate this donation and will fly this flag with honor!


First Holy Communion The Second Grade students of Sacred Heart Parish will be celebrating their First Holy Communion at this Saturday’s 4:00 Mass. Please keep these students and their teachers in your prayers. Extended Day Invoices The school year is quickly coming to an end. Please try to keep your payments up to date. We hope to have all accounts paid in full before the end of June. Thank you in advance for your efforts in this matter. Christian Living Award Students earning the Christian Living Award for the month of April will receive this award after mass on Thursday, May 4th. Any student receiving this award will be contacted by their teacher to invite you to mass and the award ceremony. Donuts for Dad We are inviting our Dads to come to Sacred Heart Campus on Friday, April 28th to share a donut with your child(ren). We hope that you are able to join us on the 28th from 7:45-8:30 a.m. in the school gymnasium. If Dad is unable to attend, a Grandpa or a special Uncle may come. PreSchool News *Wednesday, May 3rd, the 4 year old preschoolers will be going to the Zoo. The preschool building will be closed until the preschoolers arrive back at school around 2:00 p.m. *Thursday, May 4th and 5th, is Spring Picture Day for the preschool students. * Trike-a-thon day for preschool will be held on May 16th and 17th. Flower Delivery Please mark your calendars that geraniums will be delivered on Tuesday, May 9th. Volunteers are needed to help sort the flowers. A volunteer slip is enclosed in this week’s family envelope. Pop/Beverage Tabs Mrs. Meek will soon be taking a trip to the Ronald McDonald House in Toledo to drop off the pop tabs that we have collected. If you have any tabs at home and would like to donate them, please send them in as soon as possible. Thank you. Yearbooks We still have several yearbooks for sale. The price of the book this year is $16.00. If interested, please stop by the school office or send a check to school with your child in a marked envelope.
