The next PTO Meeting will be Tuesday, January 15th at 6:00 p.m. in the Media Center at SJCC. First Reconciliation Please keep our BHCS Second Graders in your prayers as they prepare to make their First Reconciliation this month. Students at all three parishes should arrive by 6:45 p.m. and be dressed in church clothes. Sacred Heart students are reminded to bring their cross and base with them that evening. Reconciliation dates are as follows: -St. Ann Parish-January 10th-7:00 p.m. -St. Joseph Parish-January 17th-7:00 p.m. -Sacred Heart Parish-January 24th-7:00 p.m.

Upcoming Events Look for more news coming your way at the start of the new year about our BHCS Open House, Catholic Schools Week, Annual Catholic Schools Mass. We will keep you informed as soon as all the details are in order. Value Card Deadline The deadline for selling Value Cards is Wednesday, January 9th. Cards/money needs to be turned in by this date in order to qualify for dress down days. The week of January 14-18 is the designated week for wearing jeans. You will be notified how many jean days your child qualifies for. End of Quarter Friday, January 11th marks the end of the 2nd Quarter/1st Semester. Report cards will go home on Tuesday, January 22nd. Martin Luther King Day Due to the Martin Luther King Day Jr. holiday, there will be NO school on Monday, January 21st. Lifetouch Candid Photos Lifetouch photographers will be at Sacred Heart Campus-Pre School-Grade 6, on Friday, January 11th to take candid shots of our students in action for the yearbook. The photographers will also be here to take group shots, such as Choir, Boy and Girl Scouts, Boy and Girl Campfire groups, Band, Servers and BHCS team sports. Students may bring to school their team shirts, sashes, vest, etc. to wear with their uniform pants.


Congratulations Congratulations to Tahliah Steinberger (flamingo) and Brennen Paeth (house). Their artwork was chosen and displayed as two of the winners in a contest that was sponsored by ProMedica Memorial Hospital Auxiliary Art of Caring Program this last spring. Congratulations also to Michaela Factor and Cadence Waleryszak for being chosen as current winners in this contest. Their art work will be displayed in the Main Lobby of the hospital from mid December 2018 through May 2018. Thank you to Mrs. Abdoo for entering our BHCS students’ artwork in the Art of Caring Program.

O God, you sent your Son, Jesus, to be the light of the world He is the light that no darkness can extinguish. By his life, he shows us the way to joy and peace, to justice and righteousness. Help us to follow his light.

May we all have a very Merry Christmas and a happy and holy New Year.
