Lenten Project Students at Sacred Heart Campus are collecting flip flops (especially size 9-11 adults) and socks to donate to the men, women and children who are temporarily housed at the Liberty Center in Fremont. Ohio. This year’s Lenten Project theme is “Walk in the Footsteps of Christ”. Donations are due before April 9th. Please considering donating a pair of flip flops and or socks Spring Dress Code According to the Dress Code, starting April 1st, students may wear their uniform shorts to school. We can only hope that the weather agrees with this! Spring Pictures All spring pictures should have been purchased or returned by now to the school office. If you still have pictures, and or payments at home, please return them as soon as possible. Parents who have not returned their child’s picture packets, will be contacted by Lifetouch.


Bogo Book Fair

Stomp, Chomp, and Read! Our spring Buy-One-Get-One-Free Book Fair is almost here! The fair will run April 30 – May 6. Students will have the opportunity to preview and shop with their class. Our pre-fair sucker sale will take place the week before, April 23-29. More information will come home next week, including the students’ shopping schedule and volunteer sign-up. New this year will be a GRAND event, where kids can shop with their favorite GRANDs in their lives – Grandparents, Relatives, Aunts & Uncles, Neighbors, and Dedicated Caregivers! New payment option – Scholastic has a new “E-Wallet” you can create for each of your children, giving you a safe and convenient alternative to sending cash or a check.

Grade 5 Wax Museum Once again the students in Grade 5 will participate in their annual Wax Museum. Formal presentation will be Thursday, May 16th from 12:30-3:00 p.m. in Sacred Heart’s gymnasium. Everyone is invited to witness fifth grade students dressed as and portraying past famous Americans. These students are spending hours preparing and hope that they may share their interesting information will all of you. We hope you are able to attend on May 16th! Donuts for Dads We are inviting our Dads to come to Sacred Heart Campus on Friday, April 12th to share a donut with your child(ren). We hope that you are able to join us on the 12th from 7:45-8:30 a.m. in the school Gymnasium. If Dad is unable to attend, a Grandfather, or a special Uncle may come. Muffins for Moms On Friday, May 10, we are inviting Moms to share a muffin with their child(ren) The time will also be from 7:45-8:30 a.m. If Mom is unable to attend, the invitation will be extended to a Grandmother, or a special Aunt. Spring Program The 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th grade students will be presenting their Broadway Theme Spring Program on Thursday, May 9. There will be an afternoon performance at 1:00 p.m. and an evening performance at 7:00 P.M. Please plan to attend only one performance due to limited seating in the Sacred Heart gymnasium. Your children have been working very hard to prepare for this and are excited for you to come and enjoy their performance. Everyone welcome! Pop Tabs Mrs. Meek will be making a trip to the Ronald McDonald House soon. If anyone has pop tabs to donate to the Ronald McDonald House, please bring them to school no later than April 26th. Thank you to everyone who has donated to this worthy cause.
