Office of Educator Preparation Services Current Employee Function Dr. Jannah Nerren General oversight of the EPP functions. Works closely with and supervises EPP personnel. Works closely with school partners, content partners, and clinical based faculty. OPEN Collects, organizes, and analyzes data related to educator preparation, ensures programs remain in compliance with TEA rules, and uses data for program improvement. Ms. Jessica Jemison- Collaborates with and fosters relationships and Williams communication with school partners in the co-selection of placement sites for the various clinical teaching models, coselection of mentor teachers, and professional development for mentor teachers. Ms. Pleshette Ruiz Collaborates with school partners to coordinate placements of candidates in field experiences and clinical teaching. Mr. Andy Oswald Unit administrator for Tk20, coordinates course-based and field-based assessment, time logs, and field experience binders. Responsible for state, federal, and external reporting. Mr. Chase Kennemer Assists with gathering and distributing data for the EPP and monitors and supports the completion of assessments. Ms. Jean Hubbartt Works with initial and advanced candidates to monitor and support certification testing and processing of certification credentials with the Texas Education Agency. Ms. Rachel Bennett Monitors admissions to the EPP and benchmarking at progression levels. Ms. Nicole Boston Dr. Helen Berg
Supports the functions of the Educator Preparation Services office, such as travel, finance, and scheduling. Supports student initiatives and programs from application to graduation, including ASPIRE Charles Butt Scholars, OC candidates, T-CLAS candidates, YLR candidates, and EdAide candidates.
