Faculty, staff, and administrators across offices and functions contribute to the quality assurance system of the Educator Preparation Program, ensuring high quality preparation and experiences for initial and advanced candidates, and involving program completers, current and prospective employers, and P-12 partners.

Office of Educator Preparation Services Position Title Current Employee Function

Associate Dean for Educator Preparation Services Dr. Jannah Nerren General oversight of the EPP functions. Works closely with and supervises EPP personnel. Works closely with school partners, content partners, and clinical based faculty.

Director for Accreditation and Accountability Services Director for Innovative Partnerships OPEN

Ms. Jessica JemisonWilliams Collects, organizes, and analyzes data related to educator preparation, ensures programs remain in compliance with TEA rules, and uses data for program improvement. Collaborates with and fosters relationships and communication with school partners in the co-selection of placement sites for the various clinical teaching models, coselection of mentor teachers, and professional development for mentor teachers.

Field Experience Coordinator

Ms. Pleshette Ruiz Collaborates with school partners to coordinate placements of candidates in field experiences and clinical teaching. Data Analyst Mr. Andy Oswald Unit administrator for Tk20, coordinates course-based and field-based assessment, time logs, and field experience binders. Responsible for state, federal, and external reporting. Assistant for Assessment Mr. Chase Kennemer Assists with gathering and distributing data for the EPP and monitors and supports the completion of assessments. Certification Officer Ms. Jean Hubbartt Works with initial and advanced candidates to monitor and support certification testing and processing of certification credentials with the Texas Education Agency.

EPP Admissions and Benchmarking Coordinator

Ms. Rachel Bennett Monitors admissions to the EPP and benchmarking at progression levels. Administrative Associate Ms. Nicole Boston Supports the functions of the Educator Preparation Services office, such as travel, finance, and scheduling.

Associate Dean for Learning Initiatives and Student Support Dr. Helen Berg Supports student initiatives and programs from application to graduation, including ASPIRE Charles Butt Scholars, OC candidates, T-CLAS candidates, YLR candidates, and EdAide candidates.
