Dear Whitetail Club Members,
As the crisp air of fall settles in and the leaves begin to relinquish to winter, I want to take a moment to reflect on the fun we had last month and share some exciting happenings as we move into the holiday season.
October kicked off with our annual Progressive Dinner, and what a fantastic turnout we had! We started on the Clubhouse patio with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres and migrated to three homes within our community. A special thank you to our hosts – Jeff and Lori Stuart, Jon Dyck, and Kevin Dalzell. We appreciate being able to tour and enjoy time in your beautiful homes. Two of the hosts were new build homes currently available for sale. It was great to get a look at the mountain modern architecture making their debut at Whitetail Club.
Later in the month we closed the golf season with the Fall Classic tournament and Member Mixer at the Golf Grille. The event had excellent participation, and it was a perfect fall day. Congratulations to all our winners; 1st - Jake & Staci Smith, 2nd - Mark Wipf & Desi Reilly and 3rd - Marty & Lisa Dougherty. Thanks to all who participated and attended.
As we look ahead, some not-to-miss events are on the calendar including the Members-Only Cooking Class and our first annual Tree-Lighting Member Mixer over Thanksgiving weekend. Speaking of the traditional harvest, we are ready to host you and your family and friends on Thanksgiving Day. We have a special menu available from 2 to 9 p.m. – book your table via the online portal or by calling the Club Concierge soon!
Please join me in welcoming new members Jim and Jan Hunter and Scott and Bridget Henson. Both families are from the Boise area and will be spending more and more time here in McCall.

Ugly Sweater Member Mixer Party

Gingerbread House Decorating

This annual event allows kids of all ages to indulge in the sweet art of confection decoration. Each participant will receive a pre-assembled gingerbread house and colorful icings, candies, and edible embellishments.
Christmas Eve Dinner at the Clubhouse

Annual Sledding Party

Get ready to celebrate the New Year with an unforgettable evening at our Enchanted Forest New Year's Eve Rock Bash! You and your guests can look forward to live music, a festive atmosphere, and a magical woodland setting. Dance the night away to the energy of a live rock band and make sure to capture the magic with themed photo booths and enchanting backdrops.
As we countdown to midnight, we'll toast to the New Year and welcome 2025 together. Embrace the Enchanted Forest theme by dressing in woodland attire or festive evening wear. Let's step into the magical world of the Enchanted Forest and make this New Year's Eve one to remember!

Earlier this week, I announced via email that the Platinum Clubs of America have recognized Whitetail Club as one of America's top 150 Country Clubs for 2025-26. We are honored to achieve such a high standard in the industry and are excited to see our ranking improve from the 2023-24 awards.
Voting is based on excellence in 'Seven Selection Criteria', per the Club Leaders Forum Advisory Board. Examples of these criteria include Excellence in Amenities and Facilities, Caliber of Staff and Professional Service Levels, and Adapting to Changing Times. In line with 'adapting to changing times,' we are excited to introduce an enhanced Member Guide to consolidate all information in one place. The guide will have six sections: Event Calendar, Club Facilities and Amenities Information, Member Directory, Rules and Regulations, Membership Plan, and Fee Appendix. Thank you to all who submitted missing photos or updated your images on the portal; these will be used in the printed Member Directory to be sent this January. Don't wait another day if you have not added your photos yet. It's important to be represented in this valuable resource.
As I reflect on the 'caliber of staff and professional service levels,' I want to express my gratitude for our members' positive influence on our seasonal staffing. Your interactions have contributed to a remarkable 48% return rate, meaning many familiar faces will join us again this coming season.

Whitetail Club offers two ways to enjoy this year's classic feast. Make reservations to join us at the clubhouse and order from our special Thanksgiving Day menu. This year's menu goes beyond turkey to include starters like West Coast oysters and a main entree like a 10oz Snake River Farms Flat Iron Surf & Turf. Let us do the prep, cooking, and clean-up, and we'll leave the wine & dine and family time to you.
Order a meal to Go and let us do the prep work for you. The meal includes a Cider-Brined Roast Turkey, all the traditional sides, and dessert and serves 4-6 people. Place your To-Go order by 11.19 and pick up will be on Thanksgiving morning.

From October 1 until December 15, 2024, the outdoor pool area at Shore Lodge, including the hot tubs, large pool, and s’mores station, will be closed for renovation. While this area is closed, the s’mores station will be in a new location.
