Whitetail Club Members,
I hope everyone enjoyed the winter months and took advantage of the excellent skiing and snow sports conditions we experienced this past season. The melting snow and ice in April ushers in the start of springtime in McCall, reminding us that warmer weather is right around the corner.
In the spirit of new beginnings, I am excited to announce that Max Riggs has accepted the position of Club Director of Whitetail Club. Max, a native Idahoan, has spent his career in some of the country's top resort destinations, like Jackson Hole, Lake Tahoe, and Sun Valley, with experiences in operations, golf, and restaurants, to name a few. His official start was on March 31, so if you see him around the community, please say hello, as he's looking forward to meeting you all. I will share a more formal introduction later this month.
In other announcements, last month, we sent the first communication for the 2025 Men's Invitational and shared the new changes to the event schedule. Thank you to this year's Chair, Poncho Romero, and Co-Chair, Marty Dougherty, for working with the Whitetail Club team to assemble the event details. All interest is due by April 1, so if you want to participate, now is the time to contact the Club Concierge. If the tournament requires a lottery, we will do that when we gather to watch the Final Four on April 5 at the clubhouse.
For this year's Ladies Member Guest, Chair Linda Donerkiel is working with the Whitetail Club team to put the final touches on this year's event itinerary, and we can confidently say that this year's schedule will be better than ever. Invitations will follow later this month but save the date 'For the Roses' on July 9-11. If any members are eager to get golfing before the Season Opening Tournament in May, join us for the Swing into Golf event on May 3. See page 8 for more details.
April's event line-up includes a beloved annual tradition, Easter Brunch & Hunt, on April 20, and introduces a new wellness event, Yoga & Spa Retreat, on April 26. And if you want to get a jump on planning for the mom in your life, we have a special weekend planned in May with Ladies Gardening 101 on Saturday and Mother's Day Brunch on Sunday. Be sure to read the Weekly Emails, especially as the event schedule expands, as we want to ensure you are always in the know.
In preparation for the upcoming season, we are updating the kitchen flooring in the clubhouse, which will affect the restaurant's hours of operation. While the restaurant will be closed April 3-6, Chef Tyler created a pop-up Tacos & Tequila concept at the Fish & Swim Club. The menu looks fantastic, and who doesn't love tacos?

Entertaining at home? Let Whitetail Club's culinary talents make a splash at your next dinner party or celebration. Our dedicated team is ready to help you plan and coordinate an event hosted at your home with our Off-Site Meal Catering service. With a minimum of two weeks' notice and parties of 30 or more, our culinary team will help you design the perfect menu for your event. Private Dining Room at the Clubhouse
Host a wine dinner, birthday celebration, or holiday meal. The private dining room, featuring a balcony overlooking Payette Lake, is perfect for an intimate gathering of 16-18 guests.

Get business done on your terms. Conveniently situated next to the business center, the private meeting room is perfect for your team or colleagues to gather in an intimate yet professional environment. Equipped with A/V capabilities and supported by the club's IT team, the meeting room can comfortably fit up to 10 people.
The Cart Barn
This stunning 6,700 sq. ft. venue is ideal for weddings at Whitetail Club. This large space has grand chandeliers and large barn doors opening to a patio overlooking the greens. Wedding planners have an incredible backdrop and space to have their décor come to life. This space is ideal for significant events, weddings, and endless entertainment. If you've attended an event here, then you know. But the space and views are truly remarkable.

If you are looking for something different or want a venue change, Shore Lodge offers even more options. As a member, you receive preferential pricing on group bookings. Below are some of the popular spaces to host a meeting or event.
Steelhead Room
This space is ideal for smaller meetings of up to 12 people, offering an intimate setting perfect for connecting with colleagues and clients.
Mill Room
The Mill Room offers a boardroom-style setting with scenic views of Payette Lake. The room seats 20 for a conference and 32 for dinner.

Private Dining Room
Enjoy a catered meal in a picturesque setting with a private outdoor patio. Incredible food and breathtaking views create the perfect atmosphere for any occasion.
The Pavilions
The Upper and Lower Pavilions at Shore Lodge are perfect for large events, like business conferences and weddings. Their long bank of windows showcases breathtaking views of Payette Lake and opens to the outside for an indoor/outdoor feel on those perfect McCall days.
The Lower Pavilion seats 120 people in classroom style, popular for meetings and conferences, and can host up to 150 for a wedding event. The Upper Pavillion, a slightly larger venue at 2,900+ sq. ft., has space for up to 150 people seated classroom style and up to 200 guests for a wedding.
Remember, when hosting a meeting or event at Whitetail Club or Shore Lodge, you get impressive catering services, event planning, and access to all the activities and adventures that come with being in McCall. Your meetings can end with a private whiskey tasting or a team-building adventure. A wedding weekend can include a day at The Cove, a round of golf, and a boat cruise around Payette Lake. The options are endless.
