Whitetail Club Members,
Welcome to May! I'm excited to be kicking off this season as your new Whitetail Club Director. It's been just over a month since I joined the team, and I am quickly settling into the role. April was an ideal time to come on board as the planning and prepping for the summer season was getting into full swing. To ensure you were also prepared, please see the community reminders on page 10.
It has been a pleasure to meet and connect with a few of you, as well as spend a great deal of time with our operations team and professional staff that make the Whitetail Club experience so unique.
For a brief introduction, I am a native of Spokane/Coeur' d'Alene, and my wife Cassi hails from Boise. We and our two daughters, Evelyn (6) and Eleanor (3), love the mountain lifestyle and look forward to all McCall offers. Time on the lake, river rafting, skiing at Brundage, camping, and golfing, to name just a few. My professional career has been in environments reflective of the authentic Pacific Northwest lifestyle at some of the country's top resort communities, like Jackson Hole, Lake Tahoe, and Sun Valley. I have over 15 years of experience in all aspects of Club operations, and I am excited to work with this team to deliver a Platinum Club experience.
This month marks the unofficial beginning of 'summertime' with the Season Opening Tournament on May 24. This issue previews what's in store for the summer event line-up organized by areas of interest: family events, golf competitions, and adventures. For most events, event registration will be available on the portal, but feel free to call or email the Concierge to confirm your spot. Ladies Member Guest invitations are in the mail, so look for those in the coming days. If you want to participate in the Men's Invitational, please contact Andrew Elaimy as only a few spots remain. But before golf season opens, we celebrate the Whitetail Club Moms with a special weekend of Ladies Only Gardening on Saturday and a gourmet brunch on Sunday, May 11. Reservations are open, and I hope to see you there. For Father’s Day, we have the Jet Boat Fishing Tour, open exclusively for 10 participants. See page 7 for more details.
Please join me in welcoming the club's newest members: Brad and Traci Neilsen from Newport Beach, CA, and Scott Fuller from Moultonborough, NH. I look forward to meeting you and all the members at an upcoming event or around the community. Feel free to reach out to me with anything.

The Season Opens
Starting May 24 with the Season Opening Tournament, the golf course returns to full swing, and many club facilities like Fish & Swim Club and The Boathouse open. While you have seen glimpses of what's to come, we are sharing a few more details and have organized them into areas of interest to give you a snapshot of what's in store. Remember that more events can be booked via the Member Portal and App. Online registration is open for all events through June and some golf events into July. By June 1, registration will open for all July events as well. Be sure to check out the weekly email every Tuesday. If you are not receiving it now, please reach out to the Club Concierge.

I am excited to kick off my second season here at Whitetail Club, and the team and I couldn't be more thrilled to welcome you all back to beautiful McCall! After a winter full of anticipation, we headed out at the end of April for our annual Swing Into Golf event. I, along with 1st Assistant Pro Jeran Lofto, led a group of members for a round of golf at Boise's Hillcrest Country Club and, after, gathered for dinner at the famed Barbacoa Grill. This event was a great time to reconnect and to get in some pre-season swings.
Let the games begin this month with the Season-Opening Tournament on May 24th, followed by our Member Mixer at The Golf Grille. This event is the first of many on the calendar, and I encourage you all to take a look at page 5 and the portal to start planning. From competitive tournaments to relaxed social gatherings, we have something for everyone. The invitations for Ladies Member Guest will be in mailboxes soon, if not already, so reserve your team's spot in the Run for the Roses. Many teams signed up to be crowned the next King of the Course at the 2025 Men's Invitational. If you are interested but haven't signed up, reach out soon as only a few spots remain open.
As we gear up for the season, we're also working hard to ensure our course conditions are of the highest standard. The team has been busy preparing the greens, fairways, and all aspects of the course to enjoy top-notch conditions as soon as you step onto the first tee. We're committed to providing the best possible golfing experience, and we can't wait to see you all out there.

“Fish some of the most spectacular wilderness in the country” on Father’s Day weekend, Saturday, June 14 . Join us for a chartered Jet Boat Tour, in partnership with Salmon River Tours, to experience Sturgeon Fishing on the Snake River in Hells Canyon Wilderness.
During our day on the river, the captain will guide us from fishing hole to fishing hole, upstream and/or downstream, searching for giant Snake River White Sturgeon, Smallmouth Bass, and the occasional Rainbow Trout.
“White sturgeon are the largest freshwater fish in North America, weighing up to 400 pounds and measuring up to 12 feet in length, these prehistoric monsters may live for 100’s of years. Because Hells Canyon offers a catch and release fishery, there is an abundance of oversized sturgeon.” -- Salmon River Outfitters
In addition to the wildlife in the water, this is an incredible opportunity to spot wildlife like Big Horn Sheep, eagles and osprey, to name a few. This is open to all skill levels, but a fishing license is required to attend. Dress prepared to get wet as reeling in these ‘dinosaurs’ takes you into the water.
