Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese The Woman’s Club of Ephrata has workshops planned for the 2015-2016 club year. They invite anyone from the community to join them for these classes. On Thursday, December 10, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Ephrata Public Library, Lisa Sanchez of the Lancaster County Parks Department will instruct class participants on how to make vine wreaths for the holidays. Lisa will supply vines, greens and cones to make these wreaths. The class size is limited to 25. There is a cost per wreath. The final day to register is Thursday, November 19. On Tuesday, May 17, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Ephrata Legion, Chef Louis Chabot will instruct a class on “Chilling and Grilling.” Chef Louis will teach how to use marinades and seasonings for use on a charcoal/propane grill or using a traditional oven. Instructions will include a salad, entrée, vegetable and dessert. Class members will then have a lunch comprised of items they learned how to make. The class is limited to 15 participants.
