Garden Spot Archery Team Competes In “nASP” Program

A Meeting for Widows will be held at the Udder Choice, 1812 West Main Street, Ephrata. Meal at 6:00 p.m. with meeting to follow. All widows welcome.

SATuRDAy, MAy 23 The second annual “Salute to Swing” event to benefit the Elanco Library will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish Center, 150 Water Street, New Holland, from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:30 p.m.) There is a cost. The Garden Spot High School Archery team recently competed in the Pennsylvania State National Archery in the Schools Program "NASP" Tournament. Teams are comprised of 12 to 20 individuals with a minimum of four competitors from each gender with the top 12

scores counting towards team awards. The Spartans were coached by Bob Lauffer with JD Stern and Matt Zamperini assisting. The team placed 14th at the state tournament in their inaugural competition. For more information about the NASP Program go to the
