Large format digital screens bring Škoda engineering to life with videos of simply clever features and top-safety options. Interactive digital tables allow families to explore
options together – customizing trims, testing colour combinations, and enjoying digital games, keeping everyone entertained. This holistic digital ecosystem ensures that every moment, from first click to a handshake, is intuitive, emotionally engaging and true to Škoda customer-first focus.
Behind the scenes, integrated after-sales bays and on-site parts hubs shorten service times, and sustainable materials, from recycled flooring to energy-efficient LED lighting, reflect Škoda’s environmental goals. The result is a cohesive network of spaces that make exploring, buying and owning a Škoda both easy and enjoyable, setting a new standard for customer-centred automotive retail in the region.

Cultural localisation has also been a focus. Lukas notes that the Middle East's preference for both sedans and SUVs led Škoda to offer a diverse range catering to different needs.
“We are proud of our value-for-money proposition,” he says, adding that the brand is actively engaging younger audiences and families through sports sponsorships and community-building efforts. For instance, L'Étape Dubai by Tour de France came to Dubai for the first time ever in 2025, and
Škoda, a proud supporter of cycling, invited the community to be part of this historic moment!

François Dussart is no stranger to the world’s finest hotels. Over a career spanning more than three decades, he has cultivated a reputation for elevating landmark properties into destinations where heritage and contemporary luxury intertwine. Today, as CEO of the Evian Resort, he presides over a rare gem perched above Lake Geneva—a place where the restorative purity of Evian’s famed water is only the beginning of a singular guest experience.
A French-Swiss national with a lifelong passion for hospitality, Dussart honed his craft over 14 years with Hyatt, followed by an impressive tenure of 17 years managing six properties in Lausanne and two more years shaping Parisian hospitality at the highest level. His arrival at Evian Resort three years ago marked a new chapter for the legendary destination, which encompasses three historic hotels,
a casino, an expansive golf course, and world-class spa and cultural facilities.
Under his leadership, the resort recently completed a €12 million refurbishment, enhancing its blend of Belle Époque elegance and modern sophistication. The result is a sanctuary that continues to attract loyal families who have returned across generations, some for over half a century.
What sets Evian Resort apart is its distinctive spirit: “Beyond hospitality, we are deeply committed to culture, wellness, and authentic human connection,” Dussart shares.
The resort is home to Michelin-starred dining, a sprawling 100-hectare estate, and a 150-room historic hotel that has welcomed dignitaries, artists, and discerning travelers alike.

What should be the standard height of a dining table in a restaurant?
Curiosity is often considered a childlike attribute, but it plays a very critical and transformational role in business. It supports and ignites creativity, drives innovation, fosters adaptability, and cultivates resilience in a continuously changing environment. By embracing
curiosity, businesses can uncover hidden opportunities and solve complex problems; helps to be resourceful intellectually and create sustainable growth.
By and large, curious people are the most successful people. Curiosity is the spark that fuels progress. New Strategies Against a Shifting Digital Battlefield

Cloudflare’s research shows that a staggering 78% of business leaders in the Middle East and Türkiye (MET) region expect their organizations to be hit by a cyberattack within the next year. But, despite these concerns for the near future, the same study shows that only 46% of those leaders believe they are adequately prepared to handle such an incident.
Cybercrime will cause almost 14 trillion US dollars in damage annually by 2028. AI-based attacks, supply chain risks, credential stuffing by bots and the threat of quantum computers are forcing IT security teams to innovate. Which technologies offer protection and how can companies secure their digital future?
The threat situation in cyberspace is becoming increasingly complex and requires innovative approaches and close cooperation between companies, governments and technology providers.
Cybercrime is a burden on the global economy—according to forecasts by Statista, global costs are expected to rise by around one percent annually and reach 13.82 trillion US dollars by 2028.
Due to rapid technological advances, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence, hackers are now acting with increasing flexibility and sophistication. This is leading to a drastic change in the security landscape, the serious consequences of which are reflected in state-sponsored attacks and attacks on critical infrastructure.
When it comes to overcoming the current security requirements, challenges remain that can only be overcome by working together.
AI – OPPORTUNITIES AND RISKS
While artificial intelligence offers companies in the region new opportunities to optimize processes, it also harbours considerable risks. Its use enables cyber criminals to circumvent detection rules and carry out tailored phishing campaigns or automated attacks.
At the same time, companies—especially in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries— are under pressure to integrate AI quickly and train their staff at the same pace. Security teams need to protect AI models to secure sensitive data and ensure operational
stability—often with very limited budgets and resources.
With the help of automated phishing identification systems, companies are able to effectively counter this threat. These systems are designed to improve the speed and accuracy of threat detection while being scalable and resource-efficient.
By using machine learning and heuristic rules, suspicious URLs and websites can be accurately identified, even if they appear inconspicuous to other security solutions. Cloudflare's phishing identification system automatically resolved nearly 80 percent of phishing reports in the second half of 2024. Such technologies are crucial to staying ahead of attackers in rapidly digitizing economies like the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
“BLIND SPOTS” AND A GROWING ATTACK SURFACE
The increasing shift to remote working, cloud migration, and digital transformation across the Middle East has significantly expanded the attack surface. This development creates security gaps that can be quickly exploited
by threat actors. Particularly problematic are “blind spots” where security managers do not have sufficient visibility. Without clear insights into these areas, it remains difficult to detect and ward off threats at an early stage.
COMPLEXITY AS THE ENEMY OF SECURITY
Another major obstacle to effective cyber security is the increasing complexity of modern IT environments. Companies are struggling with fragmented technology stacks, multi-cloud architectures and a lack of qualified security experts. These factors complicate situational awareness and increase operational overhead.
At the same time, complexity hinders the ability to modernize security measures. Without integrated platforms that provide comprehensive protection and visibility, it remains a challenge for security teams to respond appropriately to threats.
SUPPLY CHAIN ATTACKS – AN UNDERESTIMATED THREAT
Security incidents in the supply chain are another growing problem in the Middle East. Third-party vulnerabilities can ripple through the entire digital ecosystem and cause significant damage. Security teams must therefore consider risks that extend far beyond their immediate sphere of influence. This requires a holistic view of all dependencies in the technology stack—particularly relevant for sectors like energy and logistics where regional players are deeply interconnected.
THE ROLE OF BOTS AND LEAKED CREDENTIALS
Bots play a key role in amplifying attacks such as credential stuffing—a method in which leaked credentials are used to gain unauthorized access to systems. According to Cloudflare's study results, 95 percent of login attempts with stolen passwords come from bots. Platforms such as WordPress are particularly affected—an environment in which 76 percent of these attempts are successful.
Another problem is the reuse of compromised passwords. As the latest research by Cloudflare researchers shows, 41 percent of successful logins to websites within their network are made using stolen credentials. These figures underline the urgent need for stronger protective measures such as multifactor authentication (MFA) or rate limiting.
POST-QUANTUM SECURITY A NEW ERA OF CRYPTOGRAPHY
With the advent of quantum computers, internet security is facing a fundamental change. Cryptographic methods in particular need to be adapted to this new technology, as conventional encryption methods could
easily be cracked by quantum computers. However, initiatives such as the collaboration between NIST, Microsoft, and Cloudflare give hope for robust solutions to this challenge.
THE FIGHT AGAINST CYBERCRIME REQUIRES INNOVATION
The threat situation in cyberspace is becoming increasingly complex and requires innovative approaches and close cooperation between companies, governments and technology providers.
This is because the “defender's dilemma” is becoming increasingly acute: cyber criminals only need one successful attack to achieve their goals, while companies must be able
to fend off every single attack in order to maintain business operations and protect data.
Automation, AI-based detection systems and stronger protection measures are crucial to stay ahead of attackers. At the same time, long-term strategies must be developed to prepare for technological developments such as quantum computing.
As part of its “Security Week 2025”, Cloudflare demonstrated a way for companies to proactively combat cyber threats within its Connectivity Cloud with initiatives and solutions for phishing defense and securing political campaigns. But ultimately, cybersecurity remains a shared responsibility—only through collective efforts can the internet be made more secure.
The Eerie Relationship Between WordPress Hackers and an Adtech Cabal VEXING AND VICIOUS

Removing one attack tactic doesn't always eliminate the entire threat. However, when malicious activity resumes, DNS telemetry combined with expert-driven analytics reveals relationships between presumed unrelated actor groups. This Infoblox research presents seemingly coordinated activity between two actor groups: WordPress hackers and multiple Traffic Distribution System (TDS) operators related to actor VexTrio. It highlights the persistent threat from large underground cybercriminal ecosystems and their continuous adaptation.
DISRUPTION LEADS TO NEW FINDINGS
What started out as an observational study— perturb VexTrio and see how they adapt—led to a series of surprising revelations. When their TDS was disrupted, multiple malware actors that depended on it all migrated to a different TDS, and they all made the same choice. Originally thought to be an independent TDS, Infoblox found evidence that suggested otherwise.
Several commercial TDSs were discovered to share software elements with VexTrio and all benefit from VexTrio’s long, exclusive relationship with website malware actors. Finally, it became clear that the use of commercial adtech and understanding of the DNS techniques behind it could be the downfall of dominant malware campaign operators, as the adtech firms can help identify them.
REVEAL WITH DNS TELEMETRY AND THREAT EXPERTISE
By analyzing 4.5 million DNS TXT record responses from compromised websites over a six-month period, Infoblox Threat Intel discovered two distinct command-andcontrol (C2) servers hosted within Russianrelated infrastructure. These findings provide insight into DNS malware campaigns structure.
The DNS TXT campaign actors changed their operations after revelations about VexTrio commercial entities, but before their domains were reported to hosting firms, and suggested a coordinated shift to a seemingly new system known as Help TDS. Further investigation revealed that Help TDS was not new and could be connected with VexTrio in several ways.
Digging further, many other TDSs were uncovered that shared a surprising number of
characteristics with VexTrio, including several commercial adtech firms, like Partners House, Bro Push, and RichAds. When adtech providers like Los Pollos push monetization ended, we discovered an increase in fake captchas from other commercial adtech firms, like Partners House. While the relationship of these commercial entities remains a mystery, they are certainly long-time partners. These TDS redirect traffic to one another and they all have a Russian nexus, but there is no overt common ownership.
A PERSISTENT THREAT
The identified relationships between website hackers and VexTrio cabal pose significant dangers. First, it highlights the ongoing threat from organized crime and their ability to adapt rapidly. Secondly, the scale of these attacks is significant.
Adtech platforms use extensive infrastructures capable of delivering crafted payloads to millions of users while utilizing personal data to route the ideal bait. Lastly, this ecosystem targets thousands of
legitimate websites using WordPress or other content management systems, affecting the brand and reputation of the organizations they represent.
TRACKING THE MALWARE ACTORS AND THEIR CAMPAIGNS VIA ADTECH
The malware actors’ choice to use commercial adtech could be their Achilles heel. As we uncovered the relationships between the website hackers and the VexTrio cabal, we realized that unique identifiers for each malware operator exist for each of the companies.
These malware hackers vet network affiliates before allowing them to join, and they maintain personal information about the affiliates and their payments that could lead to their identities. The true test will be the adtech operators' willingness to turn in malicious actors who haunt the internet and have stolen untold money from victims worldwide.
Why Data Resilience Needs a Reality Check BLIND SPOTS AND WISHFUL THINKING

For years, many organizations have been guilty of putting data resilience on the back burner. Over time, however, the rising tide of threat levels, regulations, and best practices has lifted all boats. Resilience is now firmly on the radar.
TIME FOR A RETHINK
Awareness is only half the battle; preparedness is another matter. Now that industry benchmarks have improved so that organizations have a better idea of what to look for, they are waking up to an uncomfortable fact – they aren’t as prepared as they ought to be. The Veeam report on data resilience among larger enterprises in collaboration with McKinsey found that key
aspects of cyber resilience - even old-hat fundamentals like ‘People and Processeswere regularly self-reported as significantly lacking.
How did we get here? And how can organizations shore up these shortcomings? For C-suite decision-makers, resilience perhaps isn’t the most exciting or businesscritical concern. Historically, it was often lumped in with general cybersecurity and assumed that it was already in place. Unfortunately, like most contingencies, the true value of data resilience can’t be appreciated until things go wrong. Aside from the CISO, chief execs would often treat backup and recovery processes like you would an
airbag. Forget it’s in place at all, until you’re involved in an incident, and then suddenly you're thanking your lucky stars you had it in place.
With law enforcement cracking down on some of the most prominent groups, including the likes of BlackCat and LockBit, there might have been an assumption that cyberattacks as a whole are trending down. But the reality couldn't be further from the truth.
In the last year alone, 69% of companies faced an attack at one point or another, yet 74% still fell short of data resilience best practices. The threat is only evolving, with smaller groups and so-called ‘lone wolf’ attackers stepping
into the gap. And with a new subsection of attackers comes a new set of methods, with the faster data exfiltration attack methods on the rise.
THE WRITING’S ON THE WALL
The same Veeam report, in collaboration with McKinsey revealed that 74% of participating enterprises lacked the maturity needed to recover quickly and confidently from a disruption. While cyber resilience gaps are often a case of ‘not realising before it was too late’, in this case, many of these deficiencies were self-reported. But if organizations are aware, why haven’t they plugged these gaps?
For some, it could be down to the simple fact that they’ve only just realized. The recent wave of EU-focused regulations, including notably NIS2 and DORA, has spotlighted the issue by requiring organizations to up their resilience across the board. In the build-up to their compliance deadlines over the last year, organizations had to critically assess their full data resilience, many for the first time, revealing a number of previously unknown blind spots.
But no matter how they realized their gaps, organizations did not fall behind overnight. For many, it’s happened incrementally with their data resilience standards not keeping up as new technologies and applications have been adopted. With most organizations implementing AI at will to stay ahead of the competition and optimize business processes, the impact on their data profiles has gone largely unnoticed. The sheer amount of data needed and generated by these applications has resulted in sprawling data profiles that fall far outside existing data resilience measures.
Pair this with an underdeveloped understanding of modern data resilience, and you’ve got a recipe for disaster. It’s often a case of ‘you don’t know what you don’t know’. As a result, many organizations have been benchmarking themselves against the wrong yardsticks. Take your standard tabletop exercise, sure, it’s better than nothing, but data resilience can’t be measured on paper. In theory, their processes might work, but in reality, it’s a whole other story.
TAKING A STEP IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
So, what’s next? Rather than waiting for an incident to come along and put them to the test, organizations need to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. That means proactively uncovering and addressing gaps, however uneasy it might make them feel.
The first step for any organization with belowpar data resilience should be to gather a clear picture of your data profile. What you have, where it’s stored, and why you do or don’t need it. With this, you can reduce at least
some of your data sprawl by filtering out any obsolete, redundant, or trivial data to focus on securing the data you actually need. Then, get to work securing it.
But the work doesn’t stop there. Once you’ve got your shiny, new data resilience measures in place, it’s time to stress test them. And not just once. Data resilience measures need to be consistently and comprehensively tested to push them to their very limits, much like in the real thing – cyber-attackers won’t just stop when your systems start to creak a little. And they won’t wait until the perfect time.
Go through scenarios where key stakeholders are on annual leave, or where security teams are occupied with something else entirely, to expose all of the potential gaps in your measures. It might seem excessive, but otherwise, the first you’ll hear about these vulnerabilities will be during or following a real attack.
It’s a significant piece of work to undertake, but data resilience is worth every penny. According to the Veeam report, in collaboration with McKinsey, companies with advanced data resilience capabilities have 10% higher annual revenue growth than those lagging.
That’s not to say that improved data resilience will magically boost these figures for you, but bringing up your data resilience standards will inevitably have a knock-on effect on processes across the board.
At the very least, you can be sure that cyberthreats will only grow more complex, and that data footprints won’t be getting smaller any time soon. It’s an issue that every organization will have to face, so jump in the deep end now before you get pushed beyond your limits by a cyber-attack.

One year for summer, I escaped with my family to our home in Spain and during a road trip, rediscovered the allure of Málaga, a city where Moorish fortresses crown golden hills and Picasso’s legacy hums through sunlit galleries. Hosted at Mestaria Gallery, the show was a compelling fusion of Japanese manga influence and Emirati cultural identity, brought vividly to life through the singular vision of Emirati artist Abdulla Lutfi.
Abdulla, known for his bold black-and-white illustrations and witty visual storytelling, offered audiences an authentic, playful, and deeply insightful perspective shaped
by his experience as an artist on the autism spectrum.
His work, long celebrated for its raw expressiveness and sardonic charm, gained new momentum with this exhibition that introduced beloved One Piece characters into the heart of the UAE—complete with kandoras, Arabic-English slang, and a new home amid Dubai’s skyline.
Through LUFFY X LUTFI, Abdulla reimagined Luffy, the fearless manga hero, not only
as a pop culture icon but as a universal symbol of resilience and courage. Rendered in Abdulla’s signature monochrome palette, the characters appeared both familiar and completely transformed—localised, humanised, and profoundly connected to the UAE’s cultural landscape.

It can be reached by taking a private jet to Venice Marco Polo Airport and then covering the rest of the distance by boat. “Getting there might not be so easy, however, as the island’s 8-room Villa Ammiana, which used to be a monastery, is only available for a limited number of bookings per year. It’s worth it, though, as each room comes with a gorgeous Art Deco library and its own panoramic terrace,” M. Modis observed.
The island boasts a rich biodiversity, and its owners are working on making it fully self-sustaining. To this end, Isola Santa Cristina features extensive fig and apricot orchards, eco-friendly fish farms, organic vegetable gardens, olive trees, and a massive vineyard.
ILLA DE TAGOMAGO, SPAIN
Located just off the northeast coast of Ibiza, Tagomago – “rock Mago”, possibly after the Carthaginian general Hannibal’s brother Mago Barca – is reputed as one of the most exclusive islands in the Mediterranean and is often visited by celebrities and politicians. There’s only one building on Tagomago – a Finca-
style luxury villa with 5 double suites. As one might expect in a luxury resort, guests are provided with a private cook, kitchen staff, waiter, and housekeeping. They’re also free to hit the gym, lounge by the villa’s 136 m² pool, and enjoy a variety of wellness treatments.

I recently travelled to China to experience the future of intelligent mobility firsthand. Over several days in Chongqing, I explored AITO’s advanced manufacturing facilities, engaged with their R&D teams, and had the opportunity to drive the new AITO M9.
The experience included a factory tour showcasing AITO’s production lines, an immersive visit to the User Center, and an extended test drive through Chongqing’s dynamic landscape.
After a deep dive into the brand’s technology and design philosophy, I was left with a clear impression: the AITO M9 isn’t simply another luxury SUV— it’s a confident statement about where premium electrification is headed.
EXTERIOR
From first glance, the AITO M9 commands attention with its imposing, contemporary silhouette. The front fascia features an expansive, clean-lined grille framed by slim, high-tech LED headlamps that give the vehicle a distinctive presence.
Aerodynamic contours flow seamlessly along the profile, with flush door handles and subtle chrome accents underscoring its refined aesthetic.

An impressive suite of driver assistance features, including adaptive cruise control, automatic parking, and 360-degree cameras further underscores the vehicle’s technological depth. For passengers, ambient lighting, a high-fidelity audio system, and customizable settings ensure that the cabin feels personal and cutting-edge.
PERFORMANCE
On the road, the M9 combines the composure of a large luxury SUV with the immediacy of electrified power. The all-electric drivetrain delivers robust acceleration, responding instantly to throttle input while maintaining a refined, near-silent ride. The adaptive suspension does an excellent job of absorbing surface imperfections without sacrificing stability, while regenerative braking contributes to both efficiency and driver control.
We saw the car conquer the road in different stressful conditions like gravel, somes and even attended a brake test experience on the track which show the car’s impressive capabilities.
FINAL VERDICT
The AITO M9 left a strong impression, not only for its blend of luxury and technology but for its cohesive vision of what a modern SUV can be. It’s an elegant, high-tech flagship designed to satisfy drivers who expect the latest innovation without compromising on comfort or sophistication.
After experiencing the vehicle in China, from the production lines to the winding roads of Chongqing, it is clear the M9 represents an exciting new contender in the premium SUV segment.

My recent visit to the Deepal showroom in Dubai offered more than just a typical first look at a new EV. Before stepping into the driver’s seat, I was greeted by an immersive, lifestyle-inspired experience — think Oreo milkshakes, salted popcorn, and even a chance to win a cuddly Deepal teddy bear with a claw machine. It was clear from the outset that this wasn’t just about selling a car; it was about introducing a new way of life and this GenZ loved the both the vibe and the tribe at Deepal. But once the fun was over, the real story began — behind the wheel of the Deepal S05.
Launched in the UAE by Al Tayer Motors and backed by Changan Automobile, the Deepal S05 entered the region’s EV market with quiet confidence and a design language that feels refreshingly modern. From the moment you settle into the cabin, it’s evident that this

is an SUV engineered for comfort and clarity. The interior feels light and fluid. Think clean lines, a floating touchscreen, and a minimalist aesthetic that lend it a premium character without being ostentatious. I even enjoyed relaxing on the reclining seats for the passenger.
The Deepal S05 glides rather than drives. With rear-wheel-drive dynamics and a motor offering up to 216 horsepower, the acceleration is smooth and responsive without being overly aggressive. It feels perfectly tuned for urban living, quick enough off the line and balanced on long curves. During my short test loop, the steering felt composed and it was a drive that invites you to slow down, settle in, and enjoy the journey.
As a typcal GenZ, what impressed me most was the integration of advanced driver-assist features. The Drive Assist system effortlessly adjusted to surrounding traffic, making lane changes and braking feel intuitive and reassuring. The intelligent cockpit made the interface between driver and vehicle feel seamless. From voice commands and media controls, a techno light show to the integrated dash cam and real-time driving stats, everything was accessible, responsive, and refreshingly uncluttered.
While my drive was short, the S05 left a lasting impression. Offered in both full
EV and range-extended hybrid versions, it suits the needs of both city dwellers and longer-haul drivers. The fully electric version delivers up to 460 km on a single charge, while the REEV adds a 1.5L petrol engine, extending the total range beyond 900 km — ideal for road trips or cities where charging infrastructure is still catching up.

that feels elegant yet accessible. It’s intuitive, well-appointed, and emotionally engaging, all without trying too hard.

I recently travelled to Abu Dhabi for an unforgettable driving experience with Škoda Middle East, celebrating the arrival of the all-new Octavia and its sportiest sibling yet, the Octavia RS. Over two immersive days, we explored the cars’ dynamic potential on the iconic Yas Marina Circuit and the open roads of the capital. From track sessions and slalom challenges, this was an experience that underscored how Škoda is pushing the boundaries of refinement and performance in the midsize sedan segment.
EXTERIOR
The Octavia has always been a striking car, but the latest generation sharpens its appeal with crisper lines and a more assertive stance. Signature LED Matrix headlights and the sleek, coupe-like silhouette bring a sense of understated sophistication. The RS version cranks up the drama: gloss black trim, larger alloy wheels, and a distinctive honeycomb grille announce its performance credentials without shouting too loudly. It’s a design that feels equally at home outside a fivestar hotel or carving up a mountain road.
INTERIOR
Inside, the Octavia impresses with a cabin that blends practicality with a premium feel. The clean, horizontal dash design is accentuated by a large floating touchscreen and high-grade materials. Even in the standard model, comfort
is paramount, with supportive seats and plenty of room in both rows. The RS elevates the experience further with sport seats, contrasting stitching, and RS-specific touches that hint at the car’s athletic character. The digital cockpit is crisp and intuitive, delivering key driving
information at a glance. We did a boot packing challenge and found that it is possible to fit a lot of goods in over 600 litres of space – perfect for families.
TECHNOLOGY
Škoda’s “Simply Clever” ethos shines through the Octavia’s tech suite. Both models feature the latest infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the RS adds driving modes and customizable displays. A head-up display projects speed and navigation directly into your line of sight, and advanced driver assistance systems, like adaptive cruise control and lanekeeping that make long trips effortless. I even had the car tell me jokes which made the drive enjoyable.
PERFORMANCE
On the track, the Octavia RS was nothing short of a revelation. The steering is direct and confidence-inspiring, and the adaptive suspension strikes an impressive balance between control and comfort. The Octavia range offers two compelling powertrains: a refined 1.4 TSI delivering 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque for confident everyday driving, and the thrilling 2.0T VRS variant that unleashes 245 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque, paired with a smooth-shifting 7-speed automatic transmission in both models. Even the standard Octavia impressed with its refined ride and composed handling during the on-road test drive. Whether in everyday commuting or spirited driving, both models feel composed, agile, and genuinely enjoyable.

After two days behind the wheel, it is clear the new Škoda Octavia and Octavia RS are more than just practical sedans. They are versatile, driver-focused machines that deliver real character. In a world increasingly fractured by conflict and uncertainty, the launch of the World Park for Peace in Dubai offers a timely and powerful symbol of hope, unity, and sustainability. Set within the historic Al Fahidi area, the park is an immersive exhibition that speaks a universal language - the language of peace through the eyes and imagination of children. The park opening was attended by well known local Emirati artist, Shaikh Ali Abdalla Rashid Nasir Almulla and International Opera Singer, Inva Mula.
The World Park for Peace invites visitors on a moving journey through creatively curated spaces that reflect the core elements of the universe. Each room has been transformed to evoke emotion and inspiration, showcasing the profound connection between humanity, nature, and our shared future. At the heart of this experience is a global collection of more
than 200,000 drawings till today from over 152 countries, a visual testament to the universal yearning for peace.
This monumental initiative stems from a decade-long movement led by the Association Colors for Peace. Over the past ten years, children aged 4 to 12 from every continent have contributed their visions of peace, resulting in one of the world’s most extensive children’s art archives dedicated to harmony and understanding.
Founder Aurela Cuku, whose vision brought the World Park for Peace to life, expressed the deeper mission behind the project. “In a time when the world is seeking answers, we are choosing to listen to the quiet voices of children. These are voices that imagine a world without war, without fear, and without division,” said Cuku. “The World Park for Peace is not
just an exhibition; it is a call to action. It is a tangible space where nations connect without borders, where art becomes diplomacy, and where children lead the way toward a peaceful tomorrow.”

In an time period defined by constant alerts, infinite scroll, and the pressure to always be on, slowing down feels almost radical. But the paradox is clear: in the race to keep pace, we often lose touch with the clarity and inspiration that first drove us forward.
My guidance coach, Henri Meijer of Safehouse recently told me about the benefits of pressing the pause button. He took a work holiday to the Netherlands and it did wonders for his personal and professional life. In fact, the world’s most innovative thinkers, from tech pioneers to celebrated artists, have one habit in common: they carve out deliberate spaces to disconnect.
These aren’t just vacations. They are intentional pauses, moments where the mind
is free to wander beyond deadlines, KPIs, and to-do lists.
When we step back from the noise, we create room for the unexpected. Research shows that downtime allows the brain’s default mode network to engage. It gets to a neural state linked to imagination, big-picture problem-solving, and flashes of insight. It is no coincidence that your best ideas arrive while you’re walking along a quiet beach or watching dusk fall over a city skyline.
Purposeful disconnection is also an act of selftrust. It is a reminder that creativity doesn’t come from force but it flows when you allow space for curiosity to reawaken. Whether it is an afternoon spent offline, a weekend immersed in nature, or an hour dedicated to
journaling, these moments of stillness are the quiet incubators of progress.
