PARKS AND RECREATION BARTLETT PARK DISTRICT The Bartlett Park District was established in 1964 and serves approximately 41,000 residents. Embracing a mission statement of, “We create fun!” by providing the finest in Parks, Programs and Recreational Facilities for our Community. The BPD provides opportunities for participating in cultural activities, self-discovery, nature, fitness, athletics, and much more throughout the year.

The Park District runs thousands of programs each year including preschool, dance, theatre, sports classes and leagues, fitness programs, swim lessons, and much more. Brochures containing these programs and services are mailed out to the residents of Bartlett on a quarterly basis but can be found on our website at www.bartlettparks. org. The Bartlett Park District owns over 40 neighborhood parks with a variety of features including athletic fields, playgrounds, sand play features, spray playgrounds, skate board ramps, disc golf course, sledding hills, a fenced in dog park, and more. Features for each park can be found in our seasonal brochure as well as on our website www.bartlettparks.org.
