The Bartlett Park District was established in 1964 and serves appr oximately 41,000 re sidents. Embracing a mission statement of, “W e cr eate fun!” by pr oviding the finest in Parks, Pr ograms and Recr eational Facilities for our Community . The BPD pr ovides opportunities for participating in cultural activities, self-discovery , natur e, fitness, athletics, and much mor e thr oughout the year . PROGRAMS The Park District runs thousands of pr ograms each year including pr eschool, dance, theatr e, sports classes and leagues, fitness pr ograms, swim lessons, and much mor e. PARKS The Bartlett Park District owns over 40 neighborhood parks with a variety of features including athletic fields, playgrounds, sand play features, spray playgrounds, skate board ramps, disc golf course, sledding hills, a fenced in dog park, and more. Features for each park can be found in our seasonal brochure as well as on our website www.bartlettparks.org.

HANOVER PARK PARK DISTRICT 1919 Walnut Ave. | Hanover Park (630) 837-2468 With 21 parks and facilities, the Hanover Park Park District brings the community together through shared green space, seasonal events, and outdoor activities. Each park offers something slightly different; guests can game it up at Edgebrook Park’s playground and basketball court, or explore nature with Heritage Park’s fishing, biking trails, picnic area. The Seafari Springs Aquatic Center creates watery fun with water slides and pools, while local garden plots encourage community members to plant fruits and vegetables. In addition to these facilities, the park district hosts a variety of events for all ages such as Day at the Park, The annual Youth Benefit Ball, and the annual 5K Dash ‘N Splash, which raises funds for the district’s scholarship program.
