What do I mean by having perfect 20/20 vision? you will need to use what you have learned to make our world a better place you will need to cherish the joys and successes of each and every day

Welcome Day Photos
In your new House shirts you really looked like Seton students and a part of the College Whether you are in McAuley, Delany, MacKillop, Loyola, Marion or Ward you will be looked after by both the older students and the staff from those Houses and in turn as you get older you will welcome and mentor the new students entering the College We think these photos are testament to the great fun and positive interactions you had on the day! Well done for stepping out of your comfort zones and making an effort to meet new people

We hope you had a great time with us! If you didn’t feel 100% comfortable, that’s totally fine it’s completely normal Everyone adjusts to change at their own pace New experiences often feel unfamiliar at first, but we’re confident you’ll find your place with time
Ask your parents to follow Seton on Instagram and Facebook (if they haven’t already) It’s a great way to see all the learning, fun, and friendships that happen here
Congratulations on graduating from primary school! We can’t wait to welcome you as high school students in 2025 Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas!
Top tips for settling into high school quickly...
There are millions of students all over Australia about to start high school for the first time in 2025 and it would be a safe to say they are all feeling a tad nervous Here are our top tips for settling in quickly
Step out of your comfort zone and connect with as many people as you can! Remember, you don’t need to have a best friend after just a few days of school Focus on making as many friends as possible and widening your friendship groups to include different kinds of people
Having a small, select group of friends can limit your experiences and may make things harder if they’re not in your classes, are absent one day, or if you have a disagreement (which is natural - it’s all part of learning how to build strong relationships) Building a diverse circle of friends helps you grow, adapt, and enjoy school even more
Don’t worry if you feel like you know nothingyou’re not alone! No one expects you to know everything In fact, asking lots of questions is exactly what you’re encouraged to do
Look to your teachers and parents for guidancethey’ve ‘been there and done that’! They have a wealth of experience and wisdom to share, and they’re here to help you navigate things you haven’t encountered yet
Don’t assume everyone is so much happier and more confident than you – everyone is a little bit scared and if you make an effort to be friendly and supportive of others they will appreciate the gesture

Expect to get lost - it happens to most people!

High schools are often much bigger than primary schools Just ask for help it’s a great way to meet new people and find your way
Be kind to yourself and try to go with the flow
High school is a big change, but it’s just the first of many changes you’ll experience throughout your life It’s also a time to grow building your resilience, adaptability, and confidence
