SETON SEASONAL

HELLO FROM MR WALLACE
As the summer season draws to a close, I take pride in reviewing the vibrant array of extracurricular events and activities that unfolded during Term 1 of 2025 The school is proud to offer a holistic education that extends beyond academics, and these events have highlighted the diverse range of opportunities available to students
Orientation Week and Year 7 Induction Day welcomed new students and Year 7s to the school, providing team-building games, campus tours, and information sessions to help students feel supported as they transitioned into a new environment
The Inter-House Swimming Carnival brought the school community together for a fun-filled day of swimming, cheering, and friendly competition, while SASJ Inter-School sports provided opportunities for students to compete in a range of sports and develop their teamwork and leadership skills
Fun beach games at the end of Year 7 Orientation Week
division, they put in another incredible effort, finishing second in their new division
Finally, lunchtime clubs like Friday Fitness Club, Art Club, and Dungeons and Dragons Club have given students the chance to pursue their interests and connect with likeminded peers Our after-school tutoring sessions in Maths, Science, HASS and English have also been very busy
Overall, the events and activities of Term 1 have made it a very busy and happy campus and we look forward to what Term 2 will bring!

Seton Milestones
We’re excited to share some amazing achievements at Seton!
Seton has been officially certified as a Great Place to Work - the only school in WA and one of just three in all of Australia to earn this title! A survey showed that 92% of our staff believe Seton is a fantastic workplace, which is way above the national average of 60%. This means our teachers and staff love working here, and when they’re happy, they create the best learning experiences for their students!

We’ve also been recognised as a Microsoft Showcase School, joining a special group of schools around the world leading the way in technology. Seton has nine Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts (MIEEs) - the most in WA! These teachers are using the latest digital tools to make learning even more exciting.
And that’s not all - our teachers are making a big impact! Mr Michael Brook was named one of Australia’s Top 50 Educators for his amazing work in Technology and AI, and Mr Daniel Forlano has been nominated for the Rising Star Awards for his dedication to supporting students.
These milestones show how passionate our teachers and staff are about making Seton a great place to learn. We’re so proud of what we’ve achieved together!
