APPLY FOR ADMISSION
Complete and submit an application.
Apply at seminolestate.edu/apply or visit Student Services on any campus to receive an application.
Verify your residency status.
The Florida Residency Affidavit determines your eligibility for in-state tuition rates. Download the form at seminolestate.edu/residencyinfo or pick one up in Student Services on any campus. The last day to submit this documentation is the day before each semester begins. Financial aid award might be impacted until these documents have been received and evaluated.
Provide your high school and college transcripts.
1. Submit your transcript electronically at sem.st/submit
2. Bring a sealed transcript to any of our four campus locations.
3. Mail a sealed transcript to:

AFTER YOU’VE BEEN ACCEPTED
Once your residency and transcripts have been approved, you will receive an email with your student ID number and user ID. Within 24-48 hours you will receive a follow-up email to activate your account.
Complete the Student Welcome. Visit seminolestate.edu/welcome
Schedule your advising appointment.
At the end of the Student Welcome, you will schedule an appointment.
APPLY FOR FINANCIAL AID
Complete a financial aid application. Visit fafsa.ed.gov. Seminole State’s FAFSA code is 001520

REGISTER FOR CLASSES
Attend your advising appointment.
An academic advisor can use your transcripts to provide you with a personalized education plan. The advisor will also assist you in determining your course eligibility and planning your schedule.
Register for classes.
Register for classes. Once you’ve met with your advisor, you will be eligible to register for classes. Students can register online through my.seminolestate.edu
Pay for your classes or defer your fees.
Log in to your MySeminoleState account to determine your fees, and complete one of the following by your payment due date: Pay through my.seminolestate.edu or at any Cashiers Office. Accept your award and defer your fees if you have financial aid. Enroll in a tuition payment plan by the posted deadlines at seminolestate.edu/payment-plans
ONCE YOU’VE REGISTERED
Get your student ID.
Visit seminolestate.edu/idcard for the Blue & Gold Card Services locations and hours. Please wait one hour after you register to pick up your card. A government-issued ID must be presented.
Purchase your books.
Seminole State bookstores are located on the Altamonte Springs, Oviedo and Sanford/ Lake Mary campuses. For more info, visit seminolestate.edu/bookstore
Pick up your parking decal.
You can obtain a parking pass from the Cashiers Office on any campus. Please bring your Blue & Gold Card with you.
Log in to your student email.
Office 365 is the College’s official student email system. Your account is created approximately one business day after you create your MySeminoleState account. Visit seminolestate.edu/student-email to create a new password and log in. Please check your email regularly.
