B.S. INFORMATION SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY (4 YEARS – FULL-TIME)
The Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Systems Technology (B.S.I.S.T.) delivers the critical skills, knowledge and tools to design, plan and manage computerized information resources within diverse organizational settings. The curriculum focuses on database management systems, operating systems and networks, information security, software development and IT project management.
Cyber Security Specialization: The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology, Cybersecurity Specialization, provides hands-on training in security for IT resources and assets. The program includes cloud, mobile and device security, securing the enterprise and wireless security. It also addresses the concepts covered in the CISSP certification. Cybersecurity graduates are positioned to become Chief Information Security Officer, Forensic Computer Analyst, Information Security Analyst, Penetration Tester, Security Architect, IT Security Engineer, Security Systems Administrator and IT Security Consultant.
Programming Specialization: The Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Technology, Programming Specialization, prepares students for careers in computer programming and software development. Courses focus on object-oriented programming, systems development, agile methods, software testing and installation. Students will be well-prepared to enter the field upon graduation with at least 4 years of hands-on, project-based software development. Programming graduates are positioned for the following careers: Software Application Developer, Web Developer, Computer Systems Developer, Database Developer, Computer Systems Analyst, Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer, Business Systems Analyst and Computer Programmer.
Program cost: $9,624 in-state tuition and fees for candidates with an associate in arts or science degree.

ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE DEGREES (2 YEARS – FULL-TIME)
Associate in Science (A.S.) Information Systems Technology provides students the skills and knowledge required to administer and manage local and wide area networks in multiple environments. Students graduate with experience in desktops, servers, virtualization, cloud computing and security. The Information Systems Technology A.S. program features four specializations: Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Microsoft Server Administration and AS to the bachelor’s degree.
Seminole State’s Associate in Science (A.S.) Computer Programming and Analysis provides practical knowledge and hands-on training in the foundations of computer technology, databases, Web applications, user applications, modeling and simulation and computer programming. Specializations include programming, web development, data and analytics, and simulation/ game development.
Graduates can complete certificates during their A.S. degrees and continue to pursue their bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Technology.
Program cost: $6,245 in-state tuition and fees. Additional fees may apply for online and laboratory courses.

COLLEGE CREDIT CERTIFICATES (6-24 MONTHS)
College credit certificates do not require an associate or bachelor’s degree. They can be taken by students or professionals in the workforce to advance their skills. Certificates can be applied towards an A.S. or B.S. degree and include.

• Network Server Administration (24 credits – cost $3,505)
• Network Support Technician (21 credits – cost $3,360*)
• Project Management (15 credits – cost $1,799*)
• Virtualization and Cloud Computing (24 credits – cost $3,840*)
• Web Development (18 credits – cost $2,879)

IABs meet at least twice a year to advise on programs and make recommendations. For employees who have an associate or bachelor’s degree, Seminole State offers professional certifications, courses and programs for non-degree-seeking students from its Institute for Training, ed2go.com/seminole. These Education to Go courses in a range of business and technical subjects enable you and your employees to easily cross-skill and up-skill to meet business need.
For employees who want to reskill, upskill or embark on a degree, we provide flexible and convenient study options with over 40 fully online Associate in Science (A.S.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees and certificate programs so your employees can go back to college while working full- or part-time. These academically robust, affordable, online and hybrid programs and certificates enable you to retain employees while they level up their skills. Many Seminole State courses and programs are eligible for tuition reimbursement if this benefit is offered by employers.
