Seminole State’s Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) in Management and Organizational Leadership focuses on helping students acquire the skills needed to effectively manage diverse groups of people with varying communication and cultural styles. B.S., BUSINESS AND INFORMATION MANAGEMENT (4 YEARS – FULL-TIME)
The Bachelor of Science in Business and Information Management (B.S.B.I.M.) degree is designed for students interested in making business organizations more efficient and effective through entrepreneurship and the use of business skills, including applying technology. Professionals who practice in the field of Business and Information Management serve as a communication bridge between those who implement information systems technology and the business end users of these systems. They help ensure that organizations make information available in a timely manner and in an easily understandable format to provide strategic advantage.

CERTIFICATES OF PROFESSIONAL PREPARATION
Designed for baccalaureate degree holders, certificates of professional preparation are perfect for professionals seeking to advance their knowledge or acquire new skills for career advancement. Seminole State offers the following business certificates of professional preparation.
Data and Visual Analytics: This fully online program provides hands-on analytics knowledge and workforce ready skills that are immediately applicable in corporate systems and business analytics settings. As part of this program students will use tools inclusive of Python, SQL Server, Tableau, SAS Base, and SAS Visual Analytics. Social Media and E-Marketing Analytics: This program highlights the key social and digital marketing strategies that help companies get noticed and build brand loyalty in a crowded digital market. Students will study the strategies used by successful organizations to shape their business-to-business and business-to-consumer social media programs; target the right consumer demographics; and strengthen audience engagement and content performance to improve business outcomes.
ASSOCIATE IN SCIENCE DEGREES (2 YEARS – FULL-TIME)
Seminole State’s Associate in Science (A.S.) business degrees prepare students for immediate entry into a career in the business community or to transfer into a baccalaureate program for career advancement. Seminole State offers the following A.S. business degree options:

INDUSTRY AND COMMUNITY PARTNERS
To ensure our curriculum matches current and future industry needs in a fast-paced economy, the college also works closely with our business and industry partners on industry advisory boards (IAB). IABs meet at least twice a year to advise on programs and make recommendations. The IABs for our business programs include more than 30 members from large national and regional employers to medium-sized businesses in financial services, legal services, real estate, insurance, healthcare, technology and government.

These Education to Go courses in a range of business and technical subjects enable you and your employees to easily cross-skill and up-skill to meet business need.
For employees who want to reskill, upskill or embark on a degree, we provide flexible and convenient study options with over 40 fully online Associate in Science (A.S.) and Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degrees and certificate programs so your employees can go back to college while working full- or part-time. These academically robust, affordable, online and hybrid programs and certificates enable you to retain employees while they level up their skills. Many Seminole State courses and programs are eligible for tuition reimbursement if this benefit is offered by employers.
