The Central and Central East Florida region is uniquely positioned to support high income, high growth industries including the emerging cluster in IT and Technology. The Florida Department of Economic Opportunity estimates from 2024 to 2032, the number of openings for IT professionals will grow by 11.4% and the number for software developers by 13.4%1. These roles will contribute $4.3 billion to the Florida economy.

Seminole State is prepared for this growth, delivering high quality graduates from its bachelor’s and associate degree and certificate programs.

DEGREES AND PROGRAMS THAT LEAD TO CAREERS

B.S. Information Systems Technology (including programming and cyber security tracks) prepares graduates for jobs including software developers, analysts, administrators, IT managers, IT directors and consultants working with computer systems, databases, information security, client/server and network computing environments.

Associate in Science (A.S.) Information Systems Technology or Associate in Science (A.S.) Computer Programming and Analysis prepares graduates for middle skills jobs in network analysis, design and administration; testing, systems analysis, web development and computer programming.
