Grandmaster Because of the circumstances in which we live in the 21st century, and also because of some deeper sets of circumstances, there was probably no more appropriate place in Belgrade for the promotion of the first set of Serbian mythological chess but the Russian Centre of Science and Culture. People in “Rod” are very proud because the symbolical first move was made by the famed Serbian grandmaster Svetozar Gligorić (1923–2012).

India, Greece, Mexico, Egypt, Nordic peoples (...) live off their ancient history and memory of great civilizations that preceded them. And Serbian Orthodoxy, the religion of Saint Sava, embedded in itself and preserved important elements of that heritage of ours. Essentially, there is no discontinuity or contradictions there. In essence the same thing, under different names. Why is it being

“Links (Ancient Serbian and Slavic Mythology)”, a Facebook group gathered around the project, currently has over 12,000 members, and many times more people have gone through their past activities. These include artists and musicians, writers, scientists, various experts, publishers. The core and the driving force are, of course, people from the project “Rod”. SRPSK A No 10-11 2015
