The two surfaces are close to each other and simple, but the space inside are interesting, narrow at bottom and wider on top.
The theme of the 2d panels is ‘peep’, for example looking from a private room to outside, the 3d panels are wider at bottom and narrower at top, give a sense of window, and used to define light directions.
