ACTIVITY OF RC GJILANI ON WORLD HEART DAY

On World Heart Day, the Rotary Club "Gjilani" held an awareness activity to protect citizens' health.

The president of the Gjilani Rotary Club, Fadil Rrahmani, has said that they have decided to celebrate this activity in order to make citizens aware of how to protect their health.

Meanwhile, cardiologist Besim Guda has congratulated the Rotary Club for this awareness campaign about health and heart problems.

"I believe that this campaign is very important and useful for preserving the health of our citizens. The main and most important thing is prevention, so that diseases do not appear", said Dr. Guda.

The activity included the measurement of blood pressure and glycemia, while leaflets were distributed to citizens on what is heart failure, what are the risk factors, complaints, why should heart failure be treated, the procedures and duration of treatment and follow-up controls.

The Mayor of the Municipality of Gjilan, Alban Hyseni, on World Heart Day, joined the awareness activity in the center of the city, organized by the Rotary Club "Gjilani", which aims to protect the health of the citizens and to prevent various diseases.
