Project of Rotary Club of Kavaja

On June 1st, Rotary Club of Kavaja, Albania gathered in a wonderful celebration at Diamma Resort with Ukrainian children, who were sheltered at the resort, children from Golemi public kindergarten, children from "Marie Kaculini" high school in Durres, rotarians and their children from several Rotary Clubs in Kavaja, Durres and Tirana. Lots of music, dancing, games, traditional cherries and plenty of fun and joy accompanied participants during the party hours.

It was a unique event that helped Ukrainian children to forget war and to enjoy celebrations together with Albanian kids. At the same time, it brought together Albanian and Ukranian parents and teachers, rotarians and volunteers (Adina Imanova, Xhezmir Daku, Ukrainian teachers), our sponsors (Hera Social Marketing, KidsLead.al, Sherbime Dezinfektimi Karaboja, and Mrs. Matilda Canaku) and even tourists' families. All participants expressed their support for Ukraine and Ukrainian people.
