ROTARYCLUBPEJAINAUGURATESTHE9/11"MEMORYANDFRIENDSHIP" MEMORIAL

In honor of the victims of September 11th in New York, Rotary Club of Peja on September 11th, 2022, has inaugurated the 9/11 "Memory and Friendship" Memorial, the only one in Southeast Europe.

This Memorial features an authentic steel beam from the Twin Towers in New York donated by the New York Fire Department.

This event has been broadcasted by national and international media, including Voice of America.

Welcome to the inauguration of the 9/11 Memorial –Memory and Friendship.

We will start with the Flag Ceremony and playing of the national anthems of USA and Kosovo and the Rotary International anthem.
