"Kurti welcomed the establishment of the District and said that he hopes that this district will serve as an even greater opportunity to increase the intensity and effectiveness of the mission of Rotarians, which is service and assistance to the community through the promotion of peace, the fight against diseases , provision of clean water, care for the environment, support for education and those in need, as well as assistance in the development of local economies", as stated in the government's press release.
The Prime Minister has spoken about serving - as the commonality of Rotarians with government officials.
"Even we as politicians are at the service of others. Because even the word minister in its etymology from Latin meansservant, it means servant. Prime Minister, you are the first among the servants", he said and added that "while Rotarians are working every day to serve the community, we as the Government, through our policies, are aiming at the same objectives, where through various measures we are helping those who need it the most".
The Prime Minister has assessed the work of Rotarians as a valuable asset for society and, as he said, also the fulfillment of the human mission, which is to improve the well-being of all citizens, regardless of religion, gender, age, ethnicity, or background.
