TTHE PAST
Rehoboth Beach Country Club was officially incorporated on March 26, 1925 The original Club was located on 65 acres within the town limits of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware According to the 1964 membership application packet, "The nine-hole course was a sporty one, and the old farmhouse on the property was made into a nice clubhouse"
The old Club went through a reconstruction in 1950 but in 1956, with the Club 360 Members strong and experiencing growing pains, a special committee called the "Committee on Relation of RBCC to Site Outside City Limits" was formed While other sites were considered, the 150-acre location situated between Bald Eagle and White Oak Creeks with 1,000 feet of waterfront views of the Rehoboth Bay was the ideal location for the new golf course and clubhouse Construction began on the golf course in 1960 and opened in 1963 with the Clubhouse breaking ground in 1965 The official opening of the new Rehoboth Beach Country Club at Bald Eagle Point was held on June 18, 1966.
By 1972, with a membership nearing 600, the new Clubhouse was ready to grow in order to accommodate the increasing number of Members Renovations brought added space to the Clubhouse
However, in 1989 with 850 members (as documented on August 20, 1989), it was time once again for the Clubhouse to expand After undergoing extensive renovations, a ribbon cutting ceremony was held on July 27, 1991
In the year 2000, the Rehoboth Beach Country Club entered its 75th year and celebrated with vigorous enthusiasm all year long
Moving into the late 2000s the Board, Membership and Club management knew it was time for a renovation to the Clubhouse, Pool and Driving Range and in 2019 the Club broke ground on the Club Improvement Plan (CIP) The Clubhouse now sits at 48,000 square feet including multiple dining venues, locker rooms and banquet space Shortly following the CIP, the membership continued to grow, and the Racquets Facility saw an increase in usage In 2021 an update to the Racquet’s Facility was necessary and five Har-Tru tennis courts, four pickleball courts and a hitting wall opened in 2022 The growing demand has continued at Rehoboth Beach Country Club with a membership of over 1,000 spanning over multiple generations and zip codes As the Club looks forward to its centennial, Members and Talon Tribe Members alike strive to continue to act as stewards of this almost 100-year Club as it is the desire to continue to celebrate many more years here at Bald Eagle Point.and beyond.

A 48,000 square foot renovated Clubhouse with one of the largest banquet facilities, traditional dining room, casual Bayside Grill, plus two waterfront patios for outside dining, multiple bar areas and private rooms for all size gatherings as well as dedicated men's and ladies' locker rooms with lounge areas and a simulator room.
GOLF PROGRAM
Award-winning 18-hole golf course with a signature 19th Hole, practice facilities, yearround management and instruction, fullservice Golf Shop, merchandise & more.
RACQUETS PROGRAM
Five Har-Tru tennis courts, four pickleball courts, hitting wall pad area, canopy benches and two viewing decks with in-season management & instruction.
POOL & FITNESS
Heated outdoor pool with six lap lanes, sun deck and gated kiddie pool. State-of-the-art fitness facility open daily year-round from 5am-11pm with a variety of equipment and classes.

*RBCC is currently on a waiting list for the Regular Membership category. It is required that a prospective member becomes a Social Member first going through all membership nomination procedures. After officially being welcomed into the membership, a $5,000 waiting list deposit is required.
**Qualifying applicants must be either a child or grandchild of a current Club Member in good standing for five years or more.
