Gerald Alston Congratulations on your Half Century Milestone of your Music Journey
R
edink magazine, would like to take a moment to celebrate with Gerald Alston on reaching an incredible half century milestone on his enterprising musical career. We had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Gerald when we covered the 2019 Love and Harmony Cruise that The Manhattans were headlining on. He is an incredible performer, musician, vocalist and gentleman. It was indeed a great pleasure meeting him. Fifty years in the music industry is not something that just happens. It is something that is strived for and earned with hard work and dedication. Gerald Alston got his start in 1970, when The Manhattans lost their lead vocalist George Smith to illness. Although, the circumstances of this pairing may have been formed out of tragedy, the result proved to be a rebirth of Phoenix (the bird of fire) proportions. His voice and
talent gave way to The Manhattans creating their greatest songs including “Kiss and Say Goodnight,” “There’s No Me Without You” and “Shining Star” which won them a Grammy. To call this a match made in heaven would be an understatement. After spending 18 years with The Manhattans, in 1988, Alston, like many young musicians, decided to try something new and pursued a solo career. For seven years he found great success as a solo artist, creating multiple albums with several singles peaking in the top 5 and top 10 of the R&B Billboard Charts. Then in 1995 Blue Lovett and Gerald Alston collaborated to form a newly branded “The Manhattans featuring Gerald Alston and Blue Lovett.” And just like that… The prodigal son had returned and the legend of the Manhattans continued. 4
RED INK MAGAZINE
They recruited Troy May and David Tyson and they performed over the next 19 years until Blue’s Death in December 2014. Prior to his death, in February 2014, Alston and Lovett were featured artists on the television series Unsung in an episode dedicated to the story of The Manhattans. Gerald, Troy and David are now the incredible trio that performs under the moniker “The Manhattans
featuring Gerald Alston.” Gerald Alston, congratulations on reaching this incredible milestone, and we wish you countless more years of continued success, both continuing the legendary music of The Manhattans and in all other endeavors you pursue in the future. We wish you the very best from Mike, Naz and the Red Ink Magazine Family. by Michael Devine u

MAIA REFICCO 20 Year old Nickelodeon star launched first single “TUYA”
M
aia Reficco hears melodic trap songs ringing in her ear and ultimately, “It’s what I love to sing,” the 20 year old star said recently as she prepares to release new music. Success for Reficco came in her mid-teens when she landed her dream job after being cast by executive producer Adam Anders (Glee, The Prom), who met her through the renown singer songwriter Claudia Brant, as the lead of the hit TV series Kally’s Mashup—playing a wholesome wunderkind dreaming of pop music stardom. Now—as her teens are behind her and as she expands her repertoire—the recording artist with a global following of fans, including more than 2.5 million on Instagram and TikTok combined, has re-emerged as one of Latin music’s freshest voices. Reficco’s new collection of music is a departure from the pop songs she affectionately performed in her two seasons portraying the sweet-natured fictional character on Nickelodeon Latin America’s KALLY’S Mashup. This time the ArgentineanAmerican singer is taking these sounds to the recording studio to unleash what has been percolating in her creative process as she introduces her own writing style: soulful, empowering and grooving a sensual sensibility. It is in that spirit that her first single, “Tuya” (Yours), was born. The alluring song, co-written by Reficco with Iberê Fortes and Lucas Biren, produced by Mango & Nabález (Aitana, Ventino) and mixed by Mosty (Juanes, J Balvin, Karol G and Ximena Sariñana, among others), is anchored by hypnotic melodies, beats and seductive vocals. “My new music is sensual,” Reficco says unabashedly, as she hints at her new work in between remote recording sessions in Los Angeles and Bogotá, where she’s been collaborating with several renown producers such as Ten Towns, as well as the Latin Grammy-winning producers Mauricio Rengifo and Andrés Torres, the duo who produced the global hit “Despacito,” among others. Approaching a decade as a professional singer who has been inspired by music acts such as Aretha Franklin, Beyoncé, Stevie Wonder, Kali Uchis, Juan Ingaramo, The Jackson 5 and, more recently, Rosalia, Reficco’s musical leanings include pop, R&B, trap, urban and Latin, among others. Her mother, Katie Viqueira, is also her vocal coach and has also been a key support for Reficco, who learned from an early age to take care of her voice, especially when performing for extended times as she did last year during a production of Next to Normal at the Kennedy Center and Evita at New York City Center in the role of “young Evita”—a part that required performing intensively and daily. Her mother was also the one who encouraged her to audition for the Nickelodeon series. Continue...on page 10

“My mom was the one who told me that I should audition,” Reficco recalls. “One day I auditioned, the next day I got the part and the following week I was in Miami on set as Kally.” Never thinking she’d get the part for Kally, Reficco was planning on simply staying creative and pursuing her dreams. After landing her TV role and setting foot on the set of the Nickelodeon series that impacted her life profoundly, it became the place where the versatile singer got to hone her music-making skill set and grew as a performer. As for her new music, Reficco says, it’s not standard bubblegum pop. “The more I wrote, the songs got truer to who I am,” Reficco says with a slight chuckle. “It’s important to find the right balance and defend what I release because if I don’t defend it, who will?” RED INK Magazine had the pleasure of asking Maia a few questions. This is what she had to say. REDINK: How is your music different as an adult compared to the music you performed for Nickelodeon? MR: “I think it is very different when you’re an artist or interpreting a song for a role… There is something about interpreting a song where you kind of find the message beneath the meaning of the song within the character that you’re playing, instead when you’re writing a song it is kind of like the rawest feelings ever, so I think it very different because for me it is way more vulnerable to kind of tell my story and
share my feelings and my thoughts and everything that I went through thru music because it is indeed me.” “For me Kally was just a role and even though I loved it and enjoyed it and the songs were incredible, there is something very special and very precious about telling my own stories and sharing my own message.” REDINK: What has changed for you, leaving the Nickelodeon youth-oriented scene and moving on to a more mature scene? MR: “I think in a way everything has changed and in another way nothing has.” “I feel like what I always try to do in regards to my work is look at it like the most incredible thing in the world and in the most genuine way possible so I try to maintain my playful self with anything that I do; so that has been my attitude with both things.” “But at the same the mature music is more about believing in myself and trusting my gut, believing in my instincts and my criteria towards what I want to do as an artist which kind of changes the way I look at my craft. So this is the part where everything has changed because now it is me exposing my vulnerabilities and my stories and everything. But still I do it with the same joy and the same youthfulness that I did the show.”

RED INK MAGAZINE
REDINK:Which did you find easier and enjoy more… performing for the youth market or the more mature audiences? MR: “They are definitely very different and I can’t really choose one.” “Performing for children is more about being an actor than an artist… I really do love performing for younger kids because they are always so loving and incredibly devoted to the artists that they like and I love that. But for the mature audiences it is awesome because we can connect on a different level because they have gone through the things I am singing about.” REDINK: Now that you have moved on to recording music and releasing albums, do you plan to focus on this, or do you have aspirations of doing more television or movie roles in Hollywood? MR: If I can do both that is what I strive for the most, because I could never choose, they are literally my dream in equal parts. REDINK: Are there any Television or Movie roles currently in the works? MR: “I do have acting projects in the works; I am rehearsing a musical theatre show that will be streaming in November, and I will part of something that I have dreamed of for a while next year, so I am very excited to say that I will be back to acting as well.” REDINK: What is your dream? MR: “I think for sure my dream would be to make people happy and make people feel something with my 10
music; I think being a Latina woman that grew up in the US and a female in general I feel that there is so much I should be striving for and trying to make a difference.” REDINK: Now that your music career is starting to take off, do you have any dream collaboration you would like to see happen in the future? Which artist or artists would you love to perform with or create music with? MR: “I admire so many female artists, but if I am going to dream super big I would say Rosalía and Paloma Mami; like a song with both of them would be literal dream come true.” REDINK: Do you have any new songs, albums, or anything else coming out that you would like to share with your fans? MR: “I have song coming out this year with a music video that has me so incredibly excited, my EP will come out next year and so many new songs before that I literally cannot wait I am so happy.” REDINK: Say anything you want, a quote or whatever to your fans. MR:“Thank you so much for your love and your support you guys are literally the best thing in the world and I love you so much and you mean everything to me… I wish I could hug every single one of you and I can’t wait to see you in person.”
This concludes our Q & A with Maia, RED INK Magazine would like to wish this extremely talented actress/artist the very best in her acting and musical career. “A true force to recon with.”u

LIKA NOVA
U
nder the premise of making happy sounds for difficult times, Lika Nova keeps consolidating itself as one of the most relevant emerging bands in the Colombian alternative circuit and opening up a path in Mexico and the USA. Musically Lika Nova has a fresh sound characterized by very energetic drums, synth atmospheres and powerful vocals, all this tied up to mature lyrics and musical style that has caught the attention of specific media and industry players for their high standards. In the last couple of years, the band have shared the stage with various national and international bands such as The Neighbourhoodand Camilo Séptimo, from Mexico. Additionally, they have stepped on stages like Rock al Parque, Festival Centro and Hermoso Ruido. In 2019 they were selected as one of the "Apuestas Shock". The U.S. radio network NPR recently highlighted the band's previous single "Corriente" on their Alt.Latino list for its contagious style. LIKA NOVA releases their second studio album "NO HAY MAL QUE DURE UNA VIDA". The Colombian band shows this new artistic phase with a more mature sound. In these same artistic lines, the fifth single "Quédate Cerca" is also being released; a rhythmic track that looks at love as a party full of dynamism, experimental and electronic sounds that have characterized the band since its beginning. Based on the premise: "Dancing is the most subversive act against sadness", the songs of "No Hay Mal Que Dure Una 12
Vida" talk about hard times someone might go through: love, relationships and actions that don’t take place. Part of the tracks dealt with in the album are however inspiring to face these moments, to dance and enjoy the flow of life, making them "happy sounds for not so happy moments". "It has been a discovery process for the band. The creative horizons were expanded a lot and there is nothing left to do but to keep going through this door that has opened for this album, for the near future and new music. To make it short, it marks a before and an afterin the sound of the band". - Josue Rodriguez, Lika Nova's drummer. "No Hay Mal Que Dure Una Vida" sounds like a lot of emotional and sometimes hard to go through experiences, framed in a very rhythmic, festive and energetic aesthetic. The instrumental framework contrasts with the more sensitive and intimate themes of the songs, traveling from joyful and energetic sounds to darker and electronic ones, reaching the simplicity of the acoustic songs.
All of LIKA NOVA's members participated actively in the writing of these songs (Josue Rodriguez, Levy Rodriguez, Luis Rojas, David Useche and Brian Coronado). The album was produced and mixed by Pedro Rovetto in Estudio Naranja, and mastered by Camilo Silva.

Recording assistants were Paula Peña and Antonio Suarez. This album includes two bonus tracks: "Manos al Fuego”, with the collaboration of Pilar Cabrera, and "Donde Quedó el Amor”, with Peruvian singer songwriter, Naïa Valdez. Both collaborations were mixed and mastered by Tomás Suarez and Juan Camilo Rivas. Pilar Cabrera commented on her experience "When we recorded "Manos Al Fuego" I didn't know what was going to happen in the studio very well, especially since we didn't know each other. But it was very exciting because I had already listened to all their songs and I loved them. It took me by surprise! I had never recorded guitars for a project other than mine. It was also something very nice, the fact that they gave me the freedom and the confi dence to record whatever I considered right for the song, was
very special. Every musical intention was captured in this version." The other bonus track is the new version of the song "Donde Quedó el Amor”, with the Peruvian singer Naïa Valdez on vocals. About her experience - "I really feel that it was a very beautiful adventure. It is the first time that I have collaborated with international artists... The band’s vocal harmonies are very interesting and I wanted mine to have my signature; to exist in the song without clashing with what was already there. Everything flowed naturally and the guys were very cool". In November, the concert series will continue with virtual performances to commemorate the recent release of their album “No Hay Mal Que Dure Una Vida”, streamed live from Bogotá at the Árbol Naranja studios. A big celebration in which Lika Nova is expected to close their 2020. www.likanova.com u 13

Sir Sean Connery Iconic James Bond and Legendary Film Actor, has Died at age 90
ir Sean Connery was born Thomas Sean Connery in Fountainbridge, Edinburgh, Scotland on August 25th 1930. He grew up in a working class family and did not always live the Hollywood lifestyle. His humble beginnings shaped the man he was known as in adulthood. From being a milkman to becoming the iconic face of James Bond to earning Knighthood from the Queen; Sean Connery’s life was almost as legendary as the character he is most famous for playing on screen. Sadly, this incredible life came to an end on October 31st 2020. He died in his home from known health conditions, surrounded by family, at his home in the Bahamas. Sean Connery’s first job as a child was a milk delivery man, something he did until joining the Royal Navy at age 16. In the Navy he trained as a naval gunner and anti-aircraft specialist and was assigned to the HMS Formidable. However, his military adventure ended
S

abruptly at age 19 when he was diagnosed with a familial ulcer condition. Upon leaving the Royal Navy, Sean returned home and worked any and all jobs necessary to survive and put food on the table, as people did back then. He was a Taxi driver, a lifeguard, a common laborer, a coffin polisher, an artist’s model at a local college and even an amateur body builder. A jack of all trades for sure, but there was one defining factor in almost all of the jobs he held, and that was a degree of toughness and masculinity. This was something that Sean Connery was known for all throughout his life. He was a true Man’s man, even fighting off 6 members of a local gang single handedly and gaining a reputation around Scotland as a “hard man.” This carried over to his acting persona’s including James Bond and John Patrick Mason in The Rock. But Sean Connery was more than just a tough guy and a handsome man. He was someone who above all else was full of pride for himself, his family and his country.

He had two tattoos on his arms, “Mum and Dad” as tribute to his parents and “Scotland Forever” as tribute to his country. This carried over to his acting persona’s including James Bond and John Patrick Mason in The Rock. But Sean Connery was more than just a tough guy and a handsome man. He was someone who above all else was full of pride for himself, his family and his country. He had two tattoos on his arms, “Mum and Dad” as tribute to his parents and “Scotland Forever” as tribute to his country. As his acting career blossomed and he pursued things beyond his now legendary role as James Bond, he decided as a matter of pride that he would read every script (something that in the time was unheard of) and turn down any that would leave him type cast or that he did not understand. For the most part, this allowed him to have a storied acting career, with very few “bad” movies, but it also made him pass on one of the largest and most profitable roles. He was offered the Role of Gandalf in Lord of the Rings, and was offered in addition to $30 million a 15% cut of the box office, which in turn would have given him $450 million. Sir Sean will be remembered by most as James Bond, afterall, he was the first, and considered by almost everyone to be the best and most iconic. He also starred in The Rock, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, The Untouchables, Murder on the Orient Express, Robin and Marian ( co-starring with Audrey Hepburn) and countless other, film, TV and theater roles over the years. Throughout that incredible career he earned an Academy Award for Best Actor, three Golden Globes, two BAFTA’s, a Tony Award and dozens of others. He was also named, “The Greatest Living Scot” by The Sunday Herald; “Scotland’s Greatest Living National Treasure;” People’s “Sexiest Man Alive” in 1989 and “Sexiest Man of the Century” in 1999. And of course we cannot forget he was even knighted by the Queen herself on July 5th, 2000. Sir Sean Connery was one of the greatest actors of our time and will be remembered forever in the hearts and souls of his country, family, friends and fans. His legacy will live on in the silver screen, and he will always be my favorite James Bond. Sean Connery, you lived a long life and it was an epic one, but nonetheless, we are sad to see you leave it. You will be missed. by Michael Devine u 15

obago artist Neepz and his Jamaican friend Najashi were not deterred by the Los Angeles Covid-19 lockdown but used this time to produce their third collaboration single “Ras Warrior”. Neepz was born in Delaford, Tobago, a modest seaside village on the smaller of the two islands that make up the Republic of Trinidad &Tobago. In his late teens, he and his brother, Nick Arthur, were recognized locally for producing popular Reggae and Soca mixes and turning up the parties, which led to the eventual formation of their own studio and style of music. Inaugural National Jamaican Jerk Day
A Success!
J
erk lovers from all over the globe tuned in to watch the first-ever National Jamaican Jerk Day virtual event streamed live on VP Records’ YouTube channel from the Miramar Amphitheater in South Florida, on Sunday, October 25. Viewers—from as far away as Israel and Columbia to Canada, and so many cities right here in the United States— experienced their fill of jerk cuisine, genuine Jamaican culture, live entertainment, and highlights of some of the best acts to grace Jerk Festival stages over the years. DJ Jason Panton kicked off the event, running the gamut of Jamaican hits from the legendary Toots and the Maytals “Pressure Drop” to Grammy kid Koffee’s “Lockdown” and everything in between. Hosts Jody Ann Gray and Noah Powa kept the vibes lively with various dances from the island’s extensive dance catalog.
Highlights of performances by reggae icons John Holt and Barrington Levy and soca queen Alison Hinds on the South Florida stage; Chris Martin and Romain Virgo on the New York stage and “King of the Dancehall” Beenie Man on the Toronto stage showcased the caliber of entertainment these festivals are known for. Violinists Sons of Maestro also performed a number of hits live from the Miramar Amphitheater and Noah Powa delivered a high-energy live performance. Viewers got a chance to see Chef Irie in his element, creating delectable jerk salmon and shrimp on the grill; and Chef Andre Fowles with a cooking demo of jerk pork chops with caramelized mangoes using Grace Jerk Seasoning. 20
Nanny of the Maroons, played by actress Maxine Osbourne, appeared intermittently throughout the production, melding the old with the new and bringing hope to her descendants. Her parting words: “The struggle continues, my people … take a look around … come together, be one, my people.” A number of viewers reacted to the show on social media including Peter Campbell who commented, “Very good concept” and “Give thanks to the Jerkfest team.” TRELAWNY, who apparently enjoyed Nanny’s appearances, commented, “Nanny still wild enuh.” and Sharon Gordon said, “I thoroughly enjoyed it. Good show.” "We are pleased at the positive response we have been getting to the concept and happy for the number of people who participated, understanding that this was the first. Our goal is to develop this concept into a major celebration in the coming years," said Eddy Edwards, CEO of Jamaican Jerk Festival USA, Inc. The live stream was the highlight of the inaugural National Jamaican Jerk Day in the United States, recognizing jerk cuisine—Jamaica’s indigenous way of seasoning and grilling foods. Jamaican jerk has garnered worldwide appeal and, like reggae music, is synonymous with the island. National Jamaican Jerk Day celebration was supported by corporate partners Publix Supermarkets, Grace Foods, Western Union, VP Records, Digicel, The Jamaica Tourist Board, the City of Miramar, and the Greater Fort Lauderdale Conventions and Visitors Bureau. The Jolie-Pitt and Perrin families, who made Miraval a global success story, are proud to announce their bold, new project: FLEUR DE MIRAVAL, the only Champagne house exclusively devoted to Rosé Champagne.
On October 15, FLEUR DE MIRAVAL will launch a truly exceptional Rosé Champagne. Brad Pitt has been totally committed to creating this Champagne house, which is not some new "celebrity wine," but an authentic project of wine growers combining their expertise, skills and passion. This new, family-run adventure is, now, more than ever, focused on excellence and inspired by the legend of Countess Fleur de Miraval*. The idea of FLEUR DE MIRAVAL sprang from the association of the two families, who had already united the wine world with that of the arts through the introduction of Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé in 2012, and a third family with roots in Champagne for six generations: the Péters family. The Péters family, established in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, have been making Champagne from their own grapes since 1919. Today Rodolphe Péters runs the 50 acre estate, 40 of which are Grand Cru vineyards mainly around Le Mesnil-sur-Oger in the Côte des Blancs. Rodolphe's Champagne is sold in some 70 countries around the world and delight all lovers of great Blanc de Blancs Champagnes. Rodolphe has long been a fan of the wines of Château de Beaucastel and is close to the Perrin family. "This project is, first and foremost, an artistic venture, because producing fine wines is a form of artistic creation," explains
Famille Perrin. "We have known Rodolphe Péters for many, many years and, like him, we are passionate about the great wines of the world. Yet, each time we've gotten together to taste fine, vintage Rosé Champagnes, we've come to the same conclusion: We love the aromas that these great Champagnes develop with age, especially when they lean towards Chardonnay, but we often also find heavy aromatic notes from the red wine, which create an overall conflict with the harmony and nobility. This is why we wanted to create a different kind of Rosé Champagne that blended mature Chardonnay grapes with young Pinot Noir grapes." This blend of Chardonnay grapes of different ages makes up 75% of the final FLEUR DE MIRAVAL blend. The remaining 25% is from young Pinot Noir grapes, which gives the wine its subtle, pink color. Its tangy notes of red currant and red raspberry energize the delicate minerality, salinity and iodized expression of the Chardonnay grapes. The wine is then aged on lees in the dark cellars in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger for three years before being released. Because Champagne is particularly sensitive to ultraviolet rays and sunlight, which can easily damage the wine, each Fleur de Miraval bottle is lacquered so that the wine is never exposed to light until the day the bottle is opened. "Fleur de Miraval Rosé is the culmination of five years of work, research and tasting done in the utmost secrecy", Rodolphe Péters adds. "It is also a very exclusive wine as only 20000
bottles were produced for this first edition."

Healthy Eating AT THE HEART OF THE MATTER by Fazia Khan Parmar
H
i again my favorite RED INK foodies! One month closer to the end of 2020, right? While this year has not been easy, studies show that households are still cooking more at home than they might have prior to COVID-19. That’s a good thing as we start to talk turkey! I know you all have already seen those frozen birds take up an entire part of the grocery store freezer section. However, did you know that you can find ground turkey in most grocery poultry section for most of the year? This month’s recipe is a yummy turkey chili that is sure to please any crowd. Whether you make it with actual ground turkey or perhaps some of shredded up leftover thanksgiving turkey, it is sure to hit all of the right notes of the holiday season. One of the things that I like the most about this recipe is the use of a leaner protein than the traditional beef or pork chili and added fiber from the beans. Chili can also be quite versatile when it comes to the selection of beans, level of heat, and can even go full on vegetarian. Also depending on your mood or meal, you can serve the chili up in different ways such as over rice, with a side of saltines, with toasted crusty bread, or all on its own. No matter your preference, I hope you enjoy making and especially eating this wonderful dish. Enjoy!
Instructions:
T RY O U R M E N U Bon Appetite
RECIPE: Healthy Turkey Chili Ingredients: 2 teaspoons olive oil 1 yellow onion, chopped 3 garlic cloves, minced 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped 1 lbs extra lean ground turkey or chicken (99%) 4 tablespoons chili powder (I used McCormick chili powder) 2 teaspoons ground cumin 1 teaspoon dried oregano 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt, plus more to taste 1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes or crushed tomatoes 1 1/4 cups chicken broth 2 (15 oz) cans dark red kidney beans, rinsed and drained 1 (15 oz) can sweet corn, rinsed and drained For topping: cheese, avocado, tortilla chips, cilantro, sour cream
1. Place oil in a large pot and place over medium high heat. Add in onion, garlic and red pepper and saute for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently. Next add in ground turkey and break up the meat; cooking until no longer pink. Next add in chili powder, cumin, oregano, cayenne pepper and salt; stir for about 20 seconds. 2. Next add in tomatoes, chicken broth, kidney beans and corn. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30-45 minutes or until chili thickens and flavors come together. Taste and adjust seasonings and salt as necessary. Garnish with anything you’d like. 3. Makes 6 servings, about 1 1/2 cups each. *Disclaimer: I am not a physician or medical professional. s I’ve shared in previous newsletters a few months ago, after many years of begging and convincing by Leon my husband, I decided to move from behind the camera and embark on a marketing journey for myself and for our brand. Once we decided to do this, we agreed that we were going to treat this the same as any of our marketing projects. After our first shoot, we had several meetings to discuss and plan a few themed marketing campaigns for me. This is the first time I would be doing marketing myself and along with my brand, so as a marketing professional I wanted to make sure our messaging was in alignment. We now had to effectively market who I am as an individual along with our brand. After much discussion and brainstorming, I remember telling our team that I want my black skin to be used as a canvas for storytelling. As I’ve mentioned in a previous newsletter for my first shoot with Leon, I am first a black woman before I am any other title offered by society. In light of this, I wanted my skin color to be used as an expression of creativity, storytelling, art, and design, all of which truly represents our Chapter Avenue Productions brand. I wanted our upcoming marketing campaigns of myself to be a complete representation of heritage, culture, entrepreneurship, risk, freedom, rebellion and creative expression. Our business specializes in purposeful storytelling, marketing, branding and creative design and I wanted to completely submerse myself into the essence of who we are as a business and who I am as an individual.

Our business specializes in purposeful storytelling, marketing, branding and creative design and I wanted to completely submerse myself into the essence of who we are as a business and who I am as an individual. Those of you who've worked with us before know that we absolutely enjoy working with a creative team, so for these marketing campaigns we worked closely with some amazing “creatives” to help us breathe life into these projects. We worked closely with two makeup artists, hair stylist, barber, and fashion accessories designer who we’ve tagged in our social media promotions. I take a moment to thank you all for supporting these campaigns on our social media platforms. Thank you for your emails, messages and positive feedback these past few months during our promotions. I’m happy to share that these images have opened up some doors for us and presented some new business opportunities that I can’t wait to share with you. Marketing is not just something we do, it's also who we are. Our goal is to deliver exceptional results by developing powerful campaigns that generate a positive change for your business and your brand. Let's end this year with a bang and provide you or someone you know with the marketing and branding services needed to help take their business to the next level. Cheers Shizelle
