Facts & Numbers Career Fair Attendance by Major Typically Engineering students attend the Engineering Career Fair as well as the Spring Career Fair. The Engineering Career Fair is one of the largest career fairs on campus and is mostly geared toward technical majors. The Fall 2016 Engineering Career Fair hosted 150 employers (a 12.66% decrease to the previous year) and 2,018 students attended. The 2016 Spring Career Fair hosted 129 employers and 1,293 students attended. The Stephenson School of Biomedical Engineering hosted its first career fair. Three companies and 25 students attended this inaugural event. The chart below shows the attendance broken down by major for the two largest career fairs. Engineering students also attended the Sooner Showcase (519 engineering students), and the Atmospheric & Geographic Sciences Career and Internship Fair (2 engineering students).

First Destination Data Each year Career Services attempts to collect first destination data for all Gallogly College of Engineering undergraduate students. Data is collected utilizing several methods including, but not limited to, in-class surveys, email campaigns, individual department exit interviews/surveys, and digital research. Data collection starts at the beginning of each academic year and concludes six months after May graduation. It is important to note this data is self-reported by the students.
