HURRICANE FIONA RAMEY IN ACTION

HURICANE FIONA

Once again, the island suffers the onslaught of nature with the arrival of Hurricane Fiona. An atmospheric event that arrives when we have not yet fully recovered from the ravages of Hurricane Maria, which occurred exactly 5 years ago. Our Ramey Job Corps students and staff showed up and hit the streets to pitch in.

Tahimí Rodríguez, Janeilyn Morris, Daniela Camacho, Devon Smith, Israel Acevedo, Kenneidy Santana, Owen Nuñez, Paolo Martínez, Rudyel Meléndez, Isaías Martínez, Brian Rodríguez, Michelle Ramey Job Corps has been serving Rodríguez, Antwone Román, Jeriell neighborhoods in the delivery of Meléndez: water and supplies. Our students Thanks for your service! have done an admirable job, make the difference and contributed to a better Puerto Rico. Our recognition to: In coordination with the Emergency Management Office of the municipality of Aguadilla, and especially the Mayor Julio Roldan we went to help the communities.

CENTER EMERGENCY RESPONSE The Center emergency plan was activated. Fifteen staff members worked around the clock for student well-being. We also began a donation drive of; clothing, food and first aid necesities for students and staff affected by the impact of Fiona. We Salute you all!!
