Abbotsford School Trustee, Cindy Schafer, announces she will not run in the municipal election
A
bbotsford School Trustee, Cindy Schafer, has announced she is not running in the October municipal election. Schafer has served thirteen years on the Abbotsford Board of Education, seven of those as Board Chair. Schafer says she is stepping down to focus on her Interior Design company and to enjoy more time with family and friends. Schafer says, “It has been a real privilege to serve my community as a school trustee. I leave now, both humble and grateful for all the people I have gotten to know, the friendships that have resulted and the incredible experience She has served on many committees this has been for me.� at both our local and provincial level.
