To 2020: This is probably the worst year most of us had to ever experience. A year filled with numerous challenges and chaos for the whole world. We had our hopes up before you even started, we raised our glasses up to you, rocketed our fireworks, and sang our hearts out to celebrate your coming forth. Yet, we never really expected what you had coming for all of us. From the scare of an “almost” World War III up to this ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, you welcomed us with fear and anxiety. Now I ask, how will you escort us to 2021?

and wish for the best. We will still celebrate, even if our circumstances are not ideal. We missed a lot of opportunities because of the problems you unleashed upon us, but there is one thing that you didn’t take away from us—our hope. Goodbye, 2020, soon we’ll see you between the pages of history books and we will say, “Thank God that we are in a better time now!”

Sincerely,

The Human Race
