Early Years Manager Salary: From £33,280 ‐ £35,000 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week, 7.45 ‐ 5.30pm Monday ‐ Friday Bacton Under Fives are looking for a new Manager. Are you an experienced, confident and passionate Nursery Manager who wants to go above and beyond, to provide exceptional care where every child can thrive? This role may suit an experienced ambitious practitioner with leadership experience or a deputy who wants the opportunity to lead a well‐established team. Your responsibilities You will be responsible for the day to day running of the setting. You will be able to guide and shape the setting whilst building strong, pos‐ itive relationships with our parents and external agencies. You will have the independence to lead with aurthority, compassion and clarity. You will be a mentor to staff, supporting the setting with recruitment, inductions, supervisions and appraisels. You will need to manage your own time effectively to enssure that things run smoothly from rotas to regulations. What you will need • Level 3 or above full and relevant qualification • Evidence of continuous professional development • Minimum 3 years experience in an Early Years management or leadership role • Exceptional knowledge of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements and Safeguarding • To be a strong communicator • To be a positive role model to staff and children • An ability to motivate a team • A genuine passion for Early Years. Senior Site Manager Salary: £33,178 ‐ £36,369 We are looking to recruit a friendly, hardworking, hands‐on professional with experience in maintenance to keep our school building safe and welcoming. The Site Manager is responsible for Health and Safety and a knowledge/background in Health and Safety, security, repair and maintenance including compliance and record keeping is essential in this role. You will be energetic, enthusiastic and physically fit as lifting, moving and handling of furniture and deliveries are an important part of the job. Key Responsibilities will include: • Being able to work as part of a team as well as independently. • Opening and locking up the site. Split shifts are favourable but we can be flexible for the right candidate. • Site walks to ensure that everything is safe, clean and tidy – taking prompt remedial action where possible or reporting faults to third party contractors or Headteacher as appropriate. • Regularly review the school site to establish areas that ‘need attention’ and to use initiative to pre‐empt issues through the development of a maintenance programme; • Act as a key holder for emergencies. Attend school in response to “call outs” in emergencies. • Health and safety checks and monitoring, including fire, legionella, play equipment checks, COSHH, working at height and risk assessments. • Undertake preventative maintenance and repairs (which could include plumbing, carpentry, painting and decorating). • Engaging, liaising and supervising contractors, including grounds maintenance teams. • Oversee the use of the site by hirers, lettings etc • Keeping up to date with legislation and training. • Monitoring and ordering cleaning supplies and managing the cleaning staff/contract. • Using online systems to report maintenance issues and log readings. • Good communication skills and able to manage their time effectively.
