Mariachi Orgullo Nacional was founded in 2023 to share the passion, tradition, and cultural richness of mariachi music with audiences across San Diego County. We are a vibrant youth ensemble composed of talented elementary, middle, and high school students who come together to learn, grow, and perform. United by their love for Mexican music, our members dedicate countless hours to rehearsals and professional development. Despite being a young group, we have already captivated audiences with energetic performances and authentic interpretations of classic and contemporary mariachi songs. Our mission is not only to entertain but also to inspire future generations to appreciate and preserve this beautiful tradition. Through music, discipline, and teamwork, we help young musicians build confidence, develop their skills, and create lifelong memories.

Yo les recomiendo a las futuras quinceañeras que disfruten mucho su fiesta y no se preocupen tanto por si algo sale perfecto o no. Lo más bonito es compartir con tu familia y amigos, porque esos momentos no se repiten.
Having my quinceañera party was a very special moment for me because I was able to share it with my family and friends It wasn't just a party, but a memory that will last a lifetime I felt like it was a way to celebrate growing up and starting a new phase, but surrounded by the people I love most What I enjoyed most about my party was seeing my family and friends all gathered with me. I felt so happy seeing everyone together celebrating with me, and that made it unforgettable.
Something I would have liked to change about my party was to have enjoyed it more without worrying so much about the details. Sometimes I was nervous about everything being perfect. I recommend that future quinceañeras really enjoy their party and not worry so much about whether something goes perfectly or not. The most beautiful thing is sharing it with your family and friends, because those moments don't come again.
Originaria de Playas de Rosarito, soy descendiente de una de las primeras familias fundadoras del municipio. The thrill of walking the red carpet and accomplishing such a significant project is truly something to celebrate. One of the highlights of this event is the participation in the 48 Hour Film Project, where teams create a short film within just 48 hours This challenge allows us to engage with the vibrant film community in San Diego
Collaborating with other local organizations is essential, and it’s no small feat, especially in the creative film industry This experience fosters cooperation, organization, social participation, and humility among all participants. Ultimately, seeing our work on the big screen is exhilarating. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the 48 Hour Film Project for providing this incredible platform, and we look forward to this annual event with great anticipation!
