This performance is not like the movie versions of A Christmas Carol.

It is Neptune’s Christmas Carol.

The main characters will be played by one actor and one puppeteer, and there may be changes to the characters you might be used to.

This is Rhys Bevan-John. He will be the actor playing Scrooge, the Narrator, and many other characters in the play.

This show is not a musical, but uses recorded music and sound effects which can be loud at times.

If you do not like loud music, please bring a set of headphones.

There will be a fog machine pumping fog onto the stage. This may roll into the audience. It is completely safe, and will go away after a few minutes.

Sometimes audience members like to clap their hands after a song in the show is done. They also clap at the end of the performance.

We ask that all audience members NOT clap their hands. Instead, you can snap your fingers, or wave your hands in the air.

Throughout the show there are several puppets that portray the ghosts of Christmas past, present and future, as well as Jacob Marley. While they may appear frightening, they are not real. The puppets are controlled by a puppeteer.

There is some audience participation in the show, and one person will be asked to come on stage. No one who does not want to participate will be asked to do so.
