PICPA STaR REGION On February 18, 2022, PICPA Rizal Chapter presented the Chapter’s Scorecard Assessment to STaR awards committee. Our score as of February 18, 2022 is 80.25 points versus the target of 110 points, we still need to work out the remaining 29.75 points until June 30, 2022. President Danniboy Cero issued a report and appeal to the members “Please
be part of achieving the remaining 20%. It is mainly in membership increase that we can fill in the void. Your sincere chat/text/eMail referral to our Team Membership (headed by VP Robert Arellano) can lead us to achieving the target. I am optimistic we can do it in the coming 4 months. Just think of it always, your Chapter, your achievement!” To motivate the members, President Danniboy Cero announced that to be part of our achievement come June 30, 2022 an incentive of a no expiry eGift Certificate of a 5Star accommodation at Baguio Country Club Most Top - 3nights stay Next Top - 2nights stay Top - 1 night stay will be given to the member by simply referring a CPA acquaintance, friend, relative, colleague to be a member of PICPA Rizal. Once he/she became a member, a member who referred will get the point. This is open to all Members in Good Standing of PICPA Rizal as at referral date. Startdate is February 20, 2022 and will end upon proclamation by NO of the Chapter's performance for the fiscal year.
On March 20, 2022, PICPA Rizal Chapter joined the PICPA STaR Region in its 3rd General Membership Meeting. It was attended by President Danniboy Cero, President Elect Rosemarie Gatlabayan and Member Alessandro Rey Formoso. The event was full of activities, an inspirational message was given by Mr. Adrian Elmer Cruz, Former Deputy Chief of Mission and Consul General of the Philippines Embassy in Spain. A webinar on Cardiovascular Wellness with free 1.5 CPD units were conducted by Dra. Maria Kristina Recio, RMT, MD, FPCP, FPCC Cardiologist – Electrophysiologist, Jantung Negara (IJN) and National Hearth Institute – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The number of updated PICPA members in good standing of each chapter in the STaR Region were presented.
